First time using the VHT🍑Band… and Mandy loves it 💕🎉🤩

I stopped by her gym to demo the band and we ran it through a few moves:

• Sumo squats�• Deadlifts�• Split squats

She's got 30lbs on the cable stack and she is holding 30lb DB - she loves the resistance the band creates (comfortably) keeping her glutes under tension and fired up throughout the lift 🔥

Feeling more quads than glutes in your split squats?

🔥DEFICIT RDLs—next level with the VHT🍑Band.

I love this variation because standing on a small elevation increases range of motion, creating a deeper stretch and more time under tension for the glutes and hammies.

Quick setup:
✔️Grab your DB, KB, BB or plates
✔️Attach VHT🍑Band & select stack weight �✔️ Stand on a 2-3 inch platform�✔️ Soft knees, feet hip-width�✔️ Hinge back and lower the weight below foot level - keeping spine neutral and head aligned �✔️ Feel the stretch → squeeze glutes to standing position

Important:�If you find yourself reaching for the floor, you’re probably rounding your back instead of hinging.

👉 Cue: film yourself from the side and watch your chest. If your chest drops faster than your hips travel back, you’ve lost your hinge and your spine is compensating.

Depth only matters if you are in control. If you've mastered an RDL, this is a fabulous next level move 🙌👊🍑🔥

Today’s session I’m using my VHT🍑Band fastened around a heavy piece of equipment — the band alone gives me ~40lbs of resistance + I'm using a 25lb plate. Here's the workout:

✔️ Deadlifts Tempo 3021
✔️ Front Plate Squats Tempo 1010 
✔️ Sumo Squats Tempo 1010
✔️ Spanish Deep Squats Tempo 1010

3 sets of 12 each.
✅Keeping Tempo consistent and movements controlled.
❌No bouncing.

2 sets of 10 works beautifully.

Tried this fabulous heel-elevated glute/ham move from the legend himself 👉 👑 I took his setup and adapted it for my body, adding my VHT🍑Band behind the knees with 50 lbs on the stack 🔥

That added resistance was GOLD ✨

✔️ better knee stability
✔️ easier to stay in a strong hip hinge
✔️ encouraged knee abduction (hello glute med) 
✔️ increased glute recruitment without loading my spine 🎉

If hip hinges usually feel awkward or hit your back more than your glutes, add a band and try this exercise!! Trust me - you’ll love this one!!!🙌🙌
