Miller's Merry Manor hosted a fun and delicious staff and community Chili Cook-Off, and it was a fantastic turnout!
A special thank you to our judges, Tom from Elara Caring, Gail Benson, and one of our residents for taking on the tough job of choosing winners in such a close competition.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event such a warm and memorable gathering. We appreciate our staff, community, and residents for coming together for a little friendly competition and a lot of great chili!

Pictured is Tom with his wife, Teresa, along with our Social Services team, April and Zach, here at Miller's.

Tom came to us after surgery for therapy with the goal of returning home, and he worked incredibly hard every step of the way. Despite many obstacles, his determination never wavered, and we're thrilled to share that he achieved his goal and made it back home. We are truly inspired by Tom's strength and perseverance.

Congratulations to LeeAnn Kissenger for being nominated as our Employee of the Month! LeeAnn has been a part of Miller's Merry Manor for an incredible 19 years. She started her career here as a CNA in 2006 and went on to earn her LPN in 2012.

LeeAnn loves caring for the elderly and says one of the best parts of her job is working with such an amazing crew and all the residents. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, painting, and crafting.

We're thankful for LeeAnn's compassion and the many years of services to our residents and team.

We are grateful for our NP, Mandi Maddox, who provides exceptional care to our residents right here in the facility! Thanks to her dedication, our residents can have their healthcare needs met without having to venture out into the cold. Mandi goes above and beyond for each and every residents. Thank you, Mandi, for your compassion and making a difference every day.

Residents at Miller's Merry Manor celebrated Veterans Day with our very own Veterans, Skip and Paul. We were honored to have the Walkerton American Legion Auxiliary Unit 189 visit and present a special program for our residents. Thank you for helping us pay tribute to all who have served! 🇺🇸
