Happy National Administrative Professionals Day! Today we are celebrating two incredible women who help keep everything running smoothly, Pam and Brandy. Pam, our Office Manager, wears many hats every single day. From handling payroll to helping families and residents navigate financial questions and concerns, her dedication and attention to detail never go unnoticed. Brandy is often the friendly face you see first, whether she's answering the phone with a smile or safely transporting residents to their appointments, she brings warmth and reliability to every interaction.

So much of what they do happens behind the scenes, but their impact is felt everywhere. We are truly grateful for all the hard work, compassion, and support they bring to our team each day. Thank you, ladies. We appreciate you!

National Walking Day is celebrated the first week in April, so what better way to celebrate than by getting some exercise by walking - indoors or outdoors. There are many benefits to walking. A daily walk strengthens the heart, helps manage weight, reduces blood pressure, and can lower the risk of chronic diseases.

Our residents, Pam and Rosalie, enjoy taking walks throughout the facility and love to stop and visit with people along the way. They are looking forward to nicer days when we can take a walk in the sunshine.

Meet Lin. Lin came to our facility following surgery and has been working hard in Occupational Therapy on her journey back home. Her dedication and determination has been inspiring to watch. Occupational Therapy offers many benefits to our rehab patients by helping enhance independence with everyday activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other important activities of daily living.

Our goal is to help every patient regain strength, confidence, and the skills they need to return home. If you or a loved one would like to learn more about our rehabilitation services, please contact our Admissions Director, April, at 574-586-3133.

April is National Occupational Therapy Month! Our therapy gym is designed to help residents and rehab patients build the skills and confidence needed for everyday life prior to returning home. In this space, patients can practice important tasks such as cooking, doing laundry, preparing light meals, and other activities of daily living in a safe and supportive environment.

These hands on therapy sessions help improve strength, coordination, balance, and independence with routines that matter most. Helping our residents return home stronger and more independent is what we do best.

Saturday was National Pet Day and we had a very special visitor stop by, sweet Dixie. Our residents loved spending time with her and sharing plenty of smiles. Jeanette had a snack with her, and Dixie was very interested in becoming her new best friend. Pets bring so much joy to our residents and often remind them of their own sweet fur babies.

April is National Occupational Therapy Month. This month we're celebrating how Occupational Therapy helps our residents live their best lives every day!

Meet Valerie, one of our rehab residents who is looking forward to returning home when she is stronger. Today she is working with our COTA, Angela, on exercises that will improve her strength and balance so she can regain her independence and meet her goals. Occupational Therapy has many benefits to include making daily activities like dressing, eating, and moving around easier, supporting cognitive skills, hand-eye coordination, and encourages meaningful social activities and hobbies.

Thanks to Angela, our residents stay independent, active, and engaged.

April is National Occupational Therapy Month! This month we celebrate the wonderful work of Occupational Therapists who bring compassion and dedication to helping our residents regain their independence. From assisting with rehabilitation to supporting mental health wellness, Occupational Therapists make a difference everyday.

Join us in recognizing our COTA, Angela Perz. Angela has been a licensed therapist for over 20 years! When asked what she enjoys most about her job she stated, "I love the impact I can have in people's lives. The ability to aide in the aftercare of illness, disease, or injury is beyond rewarding. I love watching my patients progress and achieve their goals." When Angela is not working, she enjoys riding her Harley, being physically active, cooking, and doing outdoor activities like fishing and kayaking.

Thank you, Angela, for all you do for our residents. We appreciate you!

Patricia came to Miller's after an acute illness and states that from the moment she arrived, the care and support she received made all the difference. When asked about her experience, Patricia shared, "I can't say enough good things about everyone working here. They have all been so kind and helpful. The therapy staff were wonderful and knew exactly what to do to help me regain my strength. I'm very happy to be going home, but I would absolutely come back if I ever needed to. Thank you for everything!"
