Here at Miller's when the weather is nice, the fun moves outdoors. Our residents enjoy getting outside to soak up the sunshine and love to attend outdoor events such as the Annual Falloween Parade, farmers market, baseball games, summer drives, special celebrations, and cookouts.

Fresh air, laughter, and time together make these moments extra special and we are all looking forward to warmer weather!

Happy National Activity Professionals Week! Today we want to give a heartfelt thank you to Sue for all she does for our residents here at the facility. Sue, along with Tri-Kappa volunteers, host birthday parties monthly for our residents. She also enjoys helping out with bingo and church activities. Meet Richard. Richard came to Miller's following a respiratory illness with one clear goal in mind – to regain his strength and return home without needing oxygen. Through dedication and hard work in therapy, Richard achieved that goal and returned home oxygen free.

Richard shared that his stay was comfortable and expressed appreciation for the staff who supported him each day. We are very proud of his success.

Our Employee of the Month is Kassie Berg. Kassie has been a part of our team for nearly four years as the lead therapist. Kassie shares that she finds her work incredibly rewarding, especially being able to help patients achieve their goals and return home to their families.

Over the years she has built meaningful connections and met so many amazing people along the way. Outside of work, Kassie enjoys playing softball and spending quality time with her husband and three boys.

We are grateful for her dedication, compassion, and positive impact on everyone she cares for. Congratulations, Kassie!

Happy New Year from our residents here at Miller's.

Our resident started the New Year by sharing their New Year resolutions. Judith (pictured with our therapist, Kassie) hopes to be able to go home soon. Shay (pictured with her companion, Glenn) is focused on getting back home to see her cat. Gerald states that he just plans to take things day by day. Tony's goal is to stay happy and healthy and Cruz is committed to enjoying life.

Happy New Year! Our staff kicked off 2026 by sharing their New Year's resolutions. Each one is unique as the people who make them so special.

Kassie is focusing on a healthy family and happiness, Alisha wants to spend more time doing astrophotography, something she truly loves, Krista Lickey is committed to eating healthier and exercising more, and Zach is planning to make more time to exercise as well.

What a year it has been! From taking part in the local parade, cheering at baseball games, celebrating wedding anniversaries, and enjoying holiday parties, we have shared laughs, smiles, and so many memories together. This year has truly been one to remember.
