The USDA updated the food pyramid to “Eat Real Food”—and look what takes priority: proteins, healthy fats, vegetables, and fruits. Whole grains are at the bottom for a reason—they’re important, but they’re not the star of the show. If you want to lose fat or build muscle, your plate should be loaded with real proteins, healthy fats, and produce first.
