The Wisdom Seat The Wisdom Seat is a group of Buddhist teachers and practitioners residing in the mid-Atlantic region who host and sponsor spiritual teachers.

We host regular virtual and in-person meditation events and teachings. Drawing on the profound view of the Rimé tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, the Wisdom Seat seeks to cultivate authentic and sustained relationships between teachers and students of authentic Buddhist traditions.

At this month's Mindful Gathering, I presented on Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche's life, his influence on American Buddhism, and connection to The Wisdom Seat. Born in 1910 in eastern Tibet, he spent 13 years in solitary retreat before being called to teach.
