As a Doctor that goes beyond standard of care —
Your annual labs might say everything is “normal.”
But normal isn’t the full picture
I go beyond your basic annual panel, because I’m looking for root cause and hoping to prevent disease. Knowledge is power and awareness allows for actionable steps
⸻
1. Glucose isn’t enough — test HbA1c + Insulin
Your fasting glucose only captures a snapshot in time. HbA1c tells me how your blood sugar has behaved over the last 3 months, and fasting insulin shows how hard your body is working to keep glucose in range.
This combo helps detect insulin resistance years before diabetes shows up.
2. B12 isn’t enough — test Homocysteine
You can have “normal” B12 and still have poor methylation or nerve health.
Homocysteine reveals how your body is using B12 and folate at a cellular level.
High homocysteine = increased risk of fatigue, inflammation, and cardiovascular stress
3. Lipids aren’t enough — test ApoB, OxLDL, Lipoprotein Particle Count, and Lp(a)
A standard cholesterol panel misses the real risk. A lipid panel and a statin aren’t enough to reduce risk or be aware of your risk. LDL being low is not protection!
4. TSH + FreeT4 aren’t enough — test Free T3, Reverse T3, and Thyroid Antibodies
A “normal” TSH doesn’t guarantee your thyroid is functioning properly.
Free T3 shows your active thyroid hormone, reverse T3 shows if conversion is blocked (from stress, inflammation, or illness), and antibodies tell us if your immune system is attacking your thyroid.
This is how we find Hashimoto’s, sluggish metabolism, or fatigue that standard labs miss.

✨ This isn’t “extra testing.” It’s simply testing.
Because surface-level labs give surface-level answers — and you deserve more than that.
