When the world feels like it’s unraveling…
How do you anchor yourself?
When the headlines pull at your nervous system
and the same old power structures rise again…
what moves through you?
Do you feel the heat of anger?
The ache of heartbreak?
Or the quiet fog of numbness when it all feels like too much?
I have been sitting with this.
Because what we are witnessing is not new.
It is simply being revealed more plainly.
For women, this revelation lands in the body.
In the place that remembers being told to stay quiet.
To not make waves.
To not be too much.
To not honor our own lived experience in the midst of collective upheaval.
For generations we have been expected to be strong but silent.
To endure.
To adapt.
To carry what the world refuses to dismantle.
So when everything feels unstable, it makes sense if your body wants to shut down.
Numbness is not weakness.
It is protection.
But we are not meant to live there.
There is a difference between collapsing and consciously returning to center.
When women gather with intention, something ancient begins to stir.
The breath deepens.
The shoulders release.
We stop bracing.
And in that softening, something powerful returns.
Clarity.
Discernment.
Voice.
Not with a reactive voice.
But with a deeply rooted voice.
The voice that can say:
I see what is happening.
I will not bypass it.
And I will not abandon myself in the face of it. No more.
This is how we disrupt what has silenced us.
By refusing to disconnect from our inner knowing.
By remembering our bodies carry wisdom older than these systems.
By standing in the center of it all with grace and fierce love.
This is why we gather.
I am offering Sanctuary, a sacred cacao ceremony on March 7 in Concord, CA.
This is a space to come out of bracing and into softening.
To breathe.
To remember your center and your wisdom in the midst of it all.
If you are feeling overwhelmed or numb…
If you are trying to stay open without burning out…
Come closer.
There is a space where you can lay down the armor.
Where your heart can remain tender without being shattered.
Where your truth can sharpen without hardening you.
