As a former holistic wellness coach, dietitian/nutritionist, whole foods chef, interior designer, and lover of all things beautiful and good for you, I weave together all that is beautiful and sacred within you so that you can live in your fullest expression and joy. January asks us to begin again—
even when our bodies are still tired,
even when winter is still holding us.

Creating la offrenda for my ancestors has always been an act of devotion and love.

Taking time to sing and speak to them as the flowers and the candles are lit is a moving prayer.

In years past, I would offer my home, opening the space to gather for an ancestral cacao ceremony. This year, this season, feels more personal.

I honor those that have passed…even if there is no photo, they are here with me… in my heart as I say their names (those that I know).

In reverence, I give thanks for their journey here and beyond. They who had a human experience with challenges and opportunities…

I honor the lineage and release what is not mine to carry forward. There is so much beauty to carry forward…

I am grateful for the traditions and rituals that connect us beyond the veil.

With every change of season, we are reminded of the eternal cycles of life—death, rebirth, and the in-between spaces that invite us to listen more deeply. This moment in time carries an added layer of magic and intensity, as travel through eclipse season and the fall equinox — powerful cosmic gateways known for illuminating truth, stirring transformation, and realigning us with our soul’s path in harmony and balance with all life.

It’s in these threshold moments that ceremony becomes essential. Ceremony provides the quiet space to enter into the sacred…to connect deeply with the wisdom moving through us.

When the external world feels uncertain, as it does now, we can anchor ourselves in the heart, the body, and the wisdom of nature through ceremony.

Join me for a Sacred Feminine Cacao Ceremony where we will honor the turning of the seasons into fall and the heightened astrological energies of eclipse season. Together, we will create a container to pause, reflect, release, and recalibrate as a prayer for our daily lives.

Growing up as a first-gen Mexicana Americana has been a path of initiation, bringing me to greater clarity and alignment with my sense of Self, my voice, and mi poder.   
I grew up with a lot of confusion—told to blend in, never quite feeling like I belonged here or there. I felt silenced at times, yet determined to carve my own path and share my voice.

I have danced between being the “good girl” (the obedient daughter) and the rule breaker (the rebel with a cause)—all in the name of pursuing my dreams, not what was prescribed, and honoring my truth rather than giving in to what others thought I should be or do.

The road has not always been easy, yet I have never been more proud of showing up in my Latina roots.

As we honor National Latinas Day, I am deeply grateful to the Latinas (and soul sisters) in my life who inspire me every day.
