Last week at Walnut Hills, our Assisted Living residents enjoyed a joyful Christmas celebration filled with festive décor, delicious food, and plenty of fun activities! 🎄✨

The room was full of laughter, holiday cheer, and excitement as everyone came together to celebrate the season. It was a wonderful way to kick off the festivities and create special memories with friends and neighbors.

The Walnut Hills Leadership Team recently came together to do something special for our incredible campus staff — fresh, homemade pizzas for everyone! 🍕❤️

Each staff member received two pizzas as a small way to say thank you and show our appreciation for all they do each day to care for and support our residents. We hope this gesture helped brighten a busy day and reminded our team just how valued they are.

We truly see the heart, dedication, and hard work that goes into making Walnut Hills such a wonderful community. 💛

Last Thursday, we gathered to celebrate the heart of Walnut Hills — our incredible team — at our staff holiday party! 🎄✨

With a fun gingerbread theme, the afternoon was filled with delicious food, great fellowship, gingerbread hot chocolate, and plenty of creativity as we built gingerbread houses together. Laughter filled the room, and our Leadership Team even jumped in to show just how much fun we have here at Walnut Hills!

It was a wonderful time honoring our tireless staff and all they do to make Walnut Hills such a special place. We’re so grateful for each and every one of you! ❤️

Winter is officially in full swing here at Walnut Hills, and we’ve already seen a few beautiful snowfalls blanket our campus! ❄️✨

While snow might not be everyone’s favorite part of the season, there’s no denying the special charm it brings — especially around the holidays. The white rooftops, sparkling trees, and quiet, peaceful pathways make our community feel extra cozy this time of year.

Here’s to finding beauty in the season and enjoying the simple moments that make winter wonderful.

Meet Lindsay Lowe, one of our incredible CNAs here at Walnut Hills! 💙 Lindsay has been part of the Walnut Hills family for 10 years and has worked as a CNA for over 18 years — talk about dedication!

Outside of work, Lindsay loves spending time reading and putting puzzles together. She also helps care for her dad, who had a stroke in 2020 — a true reflection of her caring and compassionate spirit. 💕

When asked what she loves most about her job, Lindsay said it’s “putting smiles on my residents’ faces.” And that’s exactly what she does every day! Thank you, Lindsay, for your hard work, kindness, and commitment to making Walnut Hills such a warm and welcoming place.

Our holiday painting class was a hit! We were pleased to partner with the Holmes Center for the Arts to bring the class to our Independent Living residents a few days ago.
Special thanks to instructor, Cathie Lynch, for guiding our participants through the process of creating two holiday-themed paintings. We had a great time learning together and fellowshipping. Each painting was beautiful and unique, just like our residents!
