Today and every day, we honor the brave men and women who have served our country with courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication. At Alameda Care Hospice, we are deeply grateful for our Veterans both those we have the privilege to care for and those who continue to inspire us with their stories and strength.

Your service reminds us of the true meaning of commitment and compassion. Thank you for protecting our freedom and for the legacies you’ve built that continue to shape our nation.

What a truly magical day it was at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in San Jose! Our Alameda Care Hospice team was proud to join hundreds of others walking with purpose, hope, and love..all united by one mission: a world without Alzheimer’s.

From the sea of purple flowers to the stories shared and the hugs exchanged, the energy was simply inspiring. Every step reminded us why we do what we do..to support families, honor memories, and bring comfort and compassion to those affected by this disease.

Together, we’re walking for awareness, for connection, and for a cure. 💜

Today we pause to remember September 11, 2001. We honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who rose with courage and sacrifice.

In the days that followed, we witnessed something powerful, the world came together in unity, compassion, and resilience. Strangers became neighbors, and hope shone even in the darkest moments.

As a hospice agency, we are reminded of the strength found in community, the healing power of kindness, and the importance of cherishing every moment with those we love.

We will never forget.

A big thank you to Ivy Park at Cathedral Hill for welcoming us in to host a Bingo Bonanza. We had such a wonderful time and it was so special to see all the smiles, laughter, and joy throughout the room. We are grateful for the opportunity to spend this time together and cant wait for the next one!

Join Uplift Home Care and Sensational Seniors Workshops for a special community event featuring a 30-minute excerpt from the acclaimed PBS documentary Caregiving, executive produced by Bradley Cooper. This powerful film segment honors the caregiving journey—both paid and unpaid—through intimate personal stories and a revealing look at the often-overlooked history of care in America. Caregiving explores the emotional, financial, and societal dimensions of this essential work and sheds light on what’s at stake for families and communities today.

Following the screening, stay for a heartfelt panel discussion (including some of our very own Uplift Caregivers!) moderated by Dr. Craig DeVinney of the Walnut Creek City Council, including a Q&A and access to local support resources.

Our talented music performers had the incredible opportunity to share their love of music with the residents at The Ivy, a brand new facility in Berkeley, CA.
