We’re proud to recognize Dr. Amol Saxena, DPM, MPH for his continued leadership on an international stage.

Dr. Saxena recently participated in the German Foot & Ankle Society (GFFC) Meeting in Munich, where he moderated Operation Footprint’s Shoe and Insole Technology Workshop and presented on the topic “Bias, Sham Peer Review, and Microaggressions.” His presentation focused on how these challenges impact women in orthopedic and foot and ankle surgery, along with strategies to recognize, address, and overcome them.

During the arthroscopy session, Dr. Saxena also presented his research on gender and ethnicity differences in Achilles surgery, including updates on endoscopic techniques.

With more than two decades of involvement at this global meeting, Dr. Saxena continues to advance education, research, and advocacy in medicine. We’re proud to have him as part of BASS Medical Group.

We’re pleased to highlight Dr. Jee-Hong (Peter) Kim, MD, who recently served as an invited proctor at the Annual Stanford Rhinology Sinus & Skull Base Surgery Resident Dissection Course.

Hosted by the Stanford Rhinology Division, the course brought together residents and faculty for a full day of lectures and hands-on prosection focused on advanced sinus and skull base surgery. Dr. Kim joined fellow proctors from leading health systems to support surgical education and resident training.

Dr. Kim’s participation reflects his commitment to academic collaboration and advancing ENT education. We’re proud to have him on the BASS Medical Group team.
