🤍 🌊 One of those moments that reminds you why we do this.

One of our first interviews took an unexpected turn when she shared that she had come down to San Diego for a funeral. That trip turned into something meaningful and even celebratory at the time because of family, love, and being together when it matters most.

It was also really powerful to learn how deeply connected she and her husband are to the military community. They’ve already planned ahead together, supporting each other through life with so much intention and grace.

The greatest takeaway from this guy? He was already on it.

He didn’t hesitate. He knew exactly what he wanted to say and what he stood for. What really stuck with me was his mindset, no matter what happens, you keep going. You push through the obstacles, adapt, and move forward anyway.

✨ Someone said this and it really hit.

You miss so much of the beauty in life when you’re always just trying to work, rush, and keep up. And honestly… I agree.

It’s a reminder to pause once in a while. Look up. Be present. Life is still happening while you’re busy chasing it.

He wants to be cremated next to his father! very touching… how would you want your funeral service?

After losing her son, she said it made her think differently about her own death.
Not out of fear but out of care.

She shared that she doesn’t want her passing to be something her loved ones have to stress over.
For her, planning ahead isn’t about expecting the worst, it’s about giving peace, clarity, and relief to the people she leaves behind.

It was a quiet reminder that planning ahead can be one of the most loving decisions you make.

Sometimes the moments you put off matter the most.

She said her sister asked her to come see her… and she never got the chance.

Just a reminder to spend time with your loved ones and stop delaying it! You never know when it is their last day.
