Press Release: Visiting Nurse Associations of New England, Inc. (VNANE) is a progressive organization with a 40-year history of bringing demonstrated high quality home health to patients by functioning as a dynamic clinically integrated network. VNANE recently announced an update to the by-laws expanding its Home Health & Hospice Membership Network to include For-Profit community-based agencies. VNANE has 40 years of experience negotiating contracts with New England managed care payer partners.
As the industry continues to evolve, VNANE is seeking for-profit Medicare Certified Home Health (and Hospice) agencies requiring contract negotiation who meet our high standards of care and dedication to exceed regional/national quality and patient satisfaction outcomes.
In addition to contracting services from the VNANE clinical integrated network, members have an opportunity to participate and share in the expertise of our Medicare Certified Home Health and Hospice Members combined clinical and management expertise. Visiting Nurse Associations of New England (VNANE, Walpole, MA) celebrated 40 years at its recent Annual Meeting on September 24 at the Publick House in Sturbridge, MA. This year’s business theme was “Creative Solutions in times of Rapid Change and Uncertainty” and was followed by lively roundtable discussions on the topics of Virtual and Telehealth vendor relationships, A.I. and Palliative Care. Donna Devens, Executive Director, announces that the VNANE Member Network has decided to open the network up to eligible For-Profit Home Health and Hospice agency consideration and will provide more detail in the coming months.

Brockton Visiting Nurse Association Home Health and Hospice is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Lyons, MBA, MS, PT, as its new President/CEO effective April 7, 2025.

Mr. Lyons obtained his MBA in Healthcare Administration from Stony Brook University, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Rhode Island and his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Providence College.

Mr. Lyons, an accomplished and strategic leader, brings a wealth of experience to Brockton Visiting Nurse Association Home Health and Hospice with more than fifteen (15) years of experience as a Chief Operating Officer for Personal Touch Home Care, an Assistant Vice President of Home Care for Northwell Health at Home/Peconic Bay Home Health Services and a Regional Administrator for Arch Care at Home and Visiting Nurse Service and Hospice of Suffolk.

Mr. Lyons’ diverse home health and hospice background and passion for quality of care, financial metrics and proven ability to lead teams providing the continuum of care, will be instrumental as we continue to deliver exceptional care throughout our community.
