Today is a fun reminder that a little green can go a long way for our kids’ health! 💚

Instead of just searching for gold at the end of the rainbow, let’s look for the “green gold” on our plates today. Foods like spinach, broccoli, avocado, cucumbers, and green apples are packed with nutrients that help support growing bodies, strong immune systems, and healthy brains.

Kid-Friendly Idea:
Make a simple “Lucky Green Smoothie” together!
Blend:
🥬 Handful of spinach
🍌 1 banana
🥑 ¼ avocado
🥛 Milk of choice
🍯 Drizzle of honey

Let your kids help toss everything in the blender—it’s a fun way to get them excited about healthy foods!

🍌 Tasty Tuesday: Banana Oat Pancakes

These are a huge hit with kids and take just minutes to make!

Ingredients
• 1 ripe banana
• 1 egg
• ¼ cup oats
• Dash cinnamon
• Splash of vanilla (optional)

Directions
1. Blend everything together.
2. Cook small pancakes on a skillet with butter or coconut oil.
3. Top with berries, yogurt, or a drizzle of maple syrup.

Rainy days don’t have to mean bored kids and cabin fever! Stormy weather is the perfect excuse to slow down, connect, and have a little indoor fun together. ☔

Here are a few kid-approved activities for those cozy stormy days:

🧩 Puzzle Power – Work on a puzzle together to build patience, focus, and teamwork.
🎨 Creative Corner – Break out the crayons, paint, or playdough and let creativity run wild.
📚 Story Time Snuggles – Grab a blanket, pick a favorite book, and read together.
🏠 Indoor Obstacle Course – Use pillows, chairs, and blankets to create a mini adventure course.
🍪 Kitchen Helpers – Let kids help mix, stir, and taste while making a healthy snack or dinner.

💚 Support for Parents Navigating PANS/PANDAS 💚

Parenting a child with PANS/PANDAS can feel overwhelming at times, and one of the most powerful things we can have is support from people who truly understand the journey!!!

Christy Lang with Lang Counseling is hosting a therapeutic support group for parents of children with PANS/PANDAS, and I highly recommend her. She is a licensed mental health provider and a PANS mom herself.

Christy has worked with our family where she meets with my husband and I as parents and also supporting River and Brix through their individual sessions. Her guidance is such a gift!!

If you're looking for community, encouragement, and practical support from other parents walking a similar path, this is a wonderful opportunity.
