🤫 Wednesday – The Sad Choice

📖Reading - Matthew 26:14-16
One of Jesus’ disciples, Judas, made a very sad choice—he agreed to betray Jesus for money (30 pieces of silver!)

💛 Kid Takeaway:
We all make mistakes, but we can always choose what is right.

💬 Family Talk:
What helps you make good choices, even when it’s hard?

❤️ Reminder:
Jesus still loves us—even when we mess up.

🌳 Tuesday – Learning from Jesus

📖Reading Matthew 21:23 - 24:51
Jesus spent the day teaching important lessons—about kindness, honesty, and loving God with all your heart.

🌿 He also used a fig tree to teach that our actions should match our words.

💛 Kid Takeaway:
It’s not just what we say—it’s how we live that matters.

💬 Family Talk:
How can we show kindness through our actions today?

📖 Activity Idea:
Read a short Bible story together and act it out!

🏛️ Monday – Jesus Clears the Temple

📖Reading: Matthew 21:12-17
Jesus went to the temple and saw people treating it like a marketplace instead of a special place for God. He cleared it out because He wanted it to be peaceful and holy.

💛 Kid Takeaway:
God loves when we treat special things with respect—including our hearts.

💬 Family Talk:
What are ways we can make our hearts a peaceful place for God?

🧹 Activity Idea:
Clean up a space together at home and talk about why caring for our space matters.

🌿 Palm Sunday: A Joyful Welcome

📖Reading Matthew 21:1-11
Jesus rode into the city of Jerusalem on a donkey, and people were SO excited to see Him! They waved palm branches and shouted, “Hosanna!” which means “Save us!”

🌿 Kid Takeaway:
Jesus is a King—but not a fancy, powerful king. He is gentle, kind, and comes to bring peace.

💬 Family Talk:
How can we welcome Jesus into our hearts today?

🙌 Activity Idea:
Make your own palm branches with paper and have a mini “parade” at home!

🌿✨ Holy Week Starts Tomorrow… Let’s Prepare Our Hearts ✨🌿

Hey Natural Kids families 💛
Tomorrow begins a very special week—Holy Week—when we remember the story of Jesus in a deeper way.

Before the celebration begins, today is a perfect day to slow down and get our hearts ready.

💛 Kid-Friendly Message:
Think of your heart like a little home…
Is it ready to welcome Jesus?

🧡 Simple Ways to Prepare as a Family Today:
• Say a short prayer together
• Talk about why Easter is important
• Do something kind for someone else
• Spend time outside noticing God’s creation

💬 Family Question:
“What does it mean to get your heart ready for something special?”

🌿 Tomorrow we celebrate Palm Sunday—the day Jesus entered Jerusalem and people welcomed Him with joy!

Let’s go into this week with open hearts, lots of grace, and time together as a family.

You’re doing an amazing job raising thoughtful, faith-filled kids 💛

Two amazing days in the Upstate!!

From in-home visits, to sharing a meal with an incredible family with my team, to a full day seeing patients at Trailside Church followed by more home visits!! These past two days were such a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do. I feel so blessed the Lord has led myself and my family on this journey!

We truly feel there’s something so special about stepping into families' lives, seeing children in their natural environment, and meeting parents right where they are. These moments are personal, meaningful, and filled with so much connection.

One of the sweetest parts of this trip was getting to see one of my sweetest kiddos that I used to care for in conventional medicine. Honestly, moments like that mean more than I can put into words. Watching families continue their journey with me and trusting me to care for their kiddos is something I will never take lightly.

Thank you, Upstate families, for welcoming me into your homes and trusting me with your children. See you next month, Upstate!!

**Did you know?**

Up to 70% of children with autism may have Cerebral Folate Deficiency (CFD)! This is a condition where the brain isn’t getting enough folate, even if blood levels look normal.

**Leucovorin does NOT treat autism.**
It helps treat **cerebral folate deficiency,** which can impact:

• Speech
• Behavior
• Focus
• Anxiety
• Development

And here’s something even more important…

We’re also seeing **cerebral folate deficiency in children with PANS/PANDAS,** especially those with:

• Sudden OCD
• Anxiety
• Regression
• Mood changes
• Neuroinflammation

Sometimes when we support the **brain’s folate pathway**, we see meaningful improvements because we’re addressing **root causes**, not just symptoms.

This isn’t about labeling!
This is about **understanding what the brain needs to heal!**

And for many families… this piece is truly being missed.

You're not crazy for asking deeper questions.
You're advocating for your child. 💙

When our children were growing up, we tried to keep our Easter focus on Jesus and the Resurrection and not on the Easter Bunny. We did lots of Christ-centered crafts, we saved up money to give to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering at our church (which goes to help missionaries), and each of our children received a chocolate cross next to his/her breakfast plate on Resurrection morning.

Even so the Easter Bunny was everywhere we looked and he was awfully cute, with his big smile and colorful basket of spring eggs.
The image below is a helpful way to give the bunny a meaningful makeover, so that our message stays centered on honoring Christ. It’s complete with Scripture references, making it a wonderful devotion that’s built on God’s Word.

✨Weekly Check-In for Our Natural Kids Families✨

Hey parents 💛 take a deep breath for a moment…

This is your reminder for the week:
You are enough.

Even on the days when the meals aren’t perfect…
Even when screen time lasts a little longer than planned…
Even when patience runs thin and bedtime feels like a marathon…

You are showing up.
You are loving your children.
You are doing better than you think.

Raising healthy, happy kids isn’t about perfection—it’s about consistency, connection, and care. And you’re doing that every single day.

So this week, give yourself a little grace. Celebrate the small wins. Hug your kids a little tighter. And remember…

🌿 You are exactly the parent your child needs.

Drop a 💚 in the comments if you’re choosing grace over perfection this week.

🌿 Let’s Talk Eczema (The Root Cause Approach!) 🌿

If your child struggles with eczema, you know it’s more than just “dry skin.” 💛
Eczema is often a signal from the body, not the root problem itself.

✨ Instead of just treating the surface, let’s look deeper…

👀 Common Root Causes of Eczema in Kids:
• 🥛 Food sensitivities (especially dairy, gluten, eggs)
• 🦠 Gut imbalance (low good bacteria or yeast overgrowth)
• 🌱 Environmental triggers (detergents, fragrances, chemicals)
• 🧬 Immune system dysregulation
• 💩 Detox pathway overload (little bodies need support too!)

💡 Did you know?
About 70–80% of the immune system lives in the gut, which is why healing the gut can often improve skin!

🌈 What Can Help?
✔️ Supporting gut health with real, whole foods
✔️ Identifying and removing trigger foods
✔️ Using clean, non-toxic skincare + laundry products
✔️ Keeping skin hydrated while addressing internal balance

❤️ Every child is different — and eczema is not a one-size-fits-all condition. When we support the body from the inside out, we often see the biggest changes.

📩 Need help getting to the root of your child’s eczema? We’re here for you!

🦴 Wellness Wednesday 🦴

Did you know… 🤯
✨ Kids are actually born with about 300 bones—but adults only have 206!

As kids grow, some of their bones fuse together, helping their bodies become stronger and more stable over time 💪

How cool is that?! The human body is always growing, changing, and adapting—especially in our little ones! 🧠💚

💡 Wellness Tip:
Support strong, healthy bones with:
🥛 Calcium-rich foods (like dairy or leafy greens)
☀️ Sunshine for vitamin D
🏃‍♂️ Plenty of active play

Growing bodies need strong foundations! 🌱
