Such a special lady. Learned hygiene by on the job training in 1957 from Dr. DeLoach (Veteranarian Buddy DeLoach's father), then to Dr. Waxelbaum in Savannah before coming back to Walterboro for Dr. Tennant in 1963 or so, give or take a year, finally retiring from my office in 2011. The only thing I ever saw her scared of was the first front desk computer I installed in 2001, but after a couple weeks she had it down. We had some tough times early on, but she was a rock. She'll be missed by many. May she rest in peace. - Dr. Shannon Pye
