Hearing is a vital part of communication, development, and quality of life. Today we recognize the impact of hearing care and the professionals who support individuals across the Commonwealth.

Audiologists and speech-language pathologists play a key role in early identification, hearing screenings, and evidence-based care that help people of all ages stay connected.

MSHA is proud to support professionals working every day to promote healthy hearing and meaningful communication.

Make your voice heard and contribute to ASHA’s 2027-2028 public policy agenda by TOMORROW, FRIDAY DECEMBER 12.

This survey is open to all members, certificate holders, affiliates, and nonmembers. The ASHA Government Affairs and Public Policy Board (GAPPB) will use the overall feedback to develop ASHA’s priorities, ensuring that the voice of every state is heard.

The responses will provide essential insights into the most important advocacy priorities and challenges for professionals here in Massachusetts, enabling us to strengthen our local advocacy efforts.

As National Audiology Awareness Month comes to a close, we celebrate the audiologists who dedicate their expertise to preventing, diagnosing, and treating hearing and balance disorders— and who advocate every day for better access to hearing healthcare.

Your voices make a vital difference in shaping policies, promoting early intervention, and ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to hear and communicate effectively. Thank you for all that you do!
