Update: As SNAP benefits continue to be in flux SNAP recipients should check their benefits and their state’s timeline for updates.

We encourage US Clubhouses to check in with members to:
•Check EBT balance: https://www.ebtedge.com/gov/portal/PortalHome.do
•Check with local agencies for timeline to receive funds: Your state government, specifically the departments of health and human services, family and social services, disability services or similar agencies, will have the most updated information about SNAP payments where you live.
•Create a plan for how to go grocery shopping and provide support if necessary.
•Ensure a significant portion of upcoming food purchases are non-perishable and shelf stable to reduce the risk of food waste.
•Access your local food bank. Find a food bank near you: https://www.feedingamerica.org/find-your-local-foodbank
• Contact your U.S. Representatives and Senators to share how this has affecting you/your community.
