SNAP (food stamps) and WIC benefits have been suspended because the federal government has not taken action. These programs are vital for millions of families, older adults, people with disabilities, and young children. Without support, households may be forced to choose between food and other basic necessities like rent, medicine, and heatโ€”especially as winter approaches.
Congress must act now to reverse harmful SNAP cuts, roll back expanded work requirements that harm vulnerable people, and restore funding for key community food programs. People are already going hungry.
Use the One-Click Campaign to contact your representatives today. It takes less than a minute and every message helps urge Congress to protect these essential supports. No One Should Go Hungry!

Many families are already going hungry. Tell Congress to act now to protect SNAP and WIC because food is NOT optional. []

About Us

The Arc of Delaware County has been creating opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for over 50 years. Beginning as a group of caring and concerned individuals who wanted more for their children, we continue as a grassroots organization supporting people to live rich, fulfilling lives.

Our organization is guided by strong values and everything we do is built on the foundation of caring and respect. We are driven by opportunities for growth, change, and the truth that everyone is a valued, contributing member of society. We use a variety of innovative supports to empower and lead people towards independence. Community relationships and support are essential to fulfilling our mission of people living personally fulfilling lives.
