I asked Alan Stein Jr. what separates guys like Steph, Kobe, and KD…

He told a story about a 15-year-old Kevin Durant that says everything.

This is the part nobody sees.

You are the unseen hours.

What you do when nobody’s watching…

Unpopular opinion:
Some of the things we’ve taught young athletes about injuries for decades… are completely wrong.

“Just walk it off.”
“Stretch before you play.”
“If you can move it, it’s not that bad.”
“He just got his bell rung.”

In this episode we sat down with Dr. Max Kammerman of UHS, a sports medicine physician who’s worked the sidelines of high school, college, and semi-pro sports.

And we went straight at some of the biggest myths in sports medicine:

🧠 The truth about concussion “prevention” equipment
🦵 What people get wrong about sprains and recovery
🧘 The real story behind stretching
🏀 Why athletes hide injuries — even when it could cost them their season

If you’re a parent, coach, or athlete, this is a conversation you’ll want to hear.

Because sometimes the culture of sports tells kids to do the exact opposite of what their body actually needs.

This one is going to blow your mind!

Some pressure is loud.

Some pressure is silent.

It’s the weight you carry when everyone expects you to be strong.
The questions about faith you don’t say out loud.
The success that still feels empty.
The habits you know aren’t healthy… but you keep them anyway.

In this episode of Pressure Proof, I sat down with platinum-selling country music artist Jason Michael Carroll for a conversation that goes way deeper than music. The recording environment this week was noisy, but the conversation was just too good to miss!

We talk about the weight of expectations.
The tension between who you were raised to be and who you’re becoming.
The cracks that form when you keep everything inside.
And what it actually takes to face the things you’ve been avoiding.

This one is for:
• The athlete performing while battling something quietly
• The parent carrying more than they admit
• The leader who feels like they can’t fall apart
• The artist questioning their own identity

Pressure doesn’t break us.
Silence does.

If you’re carrying something you don’t talk about…this episode is for you.

You don’t get to choose your upbringing.
But you do choose what it makes of you.

🎙️ Coming up next on the Pressure Proof Podcast, Jason Michael Carroll opens up about his childhood, the challenges that shaped him, and the lessons he learned walking through difficult seasons.

From the spotlight to the struggle…this conversation is about resilience, responsibility, and turning pressure into purpose.

If you’re going through something heavy right now… don’t skip this one. This one’s deeper than music.

We didn’t start Pressure Proof to “have a podcast.”

We started it because too many athletes crumble under pressure, and not enough people are teaching them how to build real mental strength.

Since launching we’ve reached athletes and families across multiple states and even overseas. The conversations are real. The feedback has been powerful. And we’re just getting started.

We’ve been blown away by the support so far. Athletes, parents, and coaches reaching out across the country. That tells me that this matters.

As we grow, we’re looking to align with a few businesses that believe in building strong, disciplined, resilient young people.

Not just better athletes. Better humans.

Investing in the next generation. We’re building this the right way. And we’re building it to last.

If this resonates with your business and aligns with your mission, I’d love to explore a sponsorship partnership with you. Feel free to drop me a DM to discuss what that could look like.
