Scar tissue and movement restriction rarely exist in isolation.
True, lasting change happens when tissue quality and movement integration are addressed together.

The S.T.R.A.I.T. Method® teaches practitioners how to assess and release scar tissue with precision and safety.
Integrated Therapeutic Stretching® builds on that foundation—restoring movement, adaptability, and neuromuscular trust.

Together, these courses offer a comprehensive framework for resolving restriction, improving function, and elevating clinical outcomes.

Fascia is a continuous, viscoelastic connective tissue system that integrates musculoskeletal structures into a functional whole. Beyond structural support, fascia plays a critical role in force transmission, proprioception, nociception, and movement coordination. When fascial properties become altered due to injury, inflammation, chronic loading patterns, or immobility, the resulting dysfunction can create biomechanical and neurophysiological constraints that effectively “hold movement hostage.”

This concept reflects the interplay between mechanical restriction, altered neuromuscular control, and central nervous system adaptation.

"I was incredibly surprised by how much Marjorie's course really affected the trajectory of my massage therapy experience. I took the class because I was curious and it became so much more. And now my practice is probably 25-35% scar tissue work. It's been really impactful for myself and for my clients."

Many techniques treat either tissue or movement—but not both.

The S.T.R.A.I.T. Method® addresses the often-missed influence of scar tissue on pain, restriction, and compensation.
Integrated Therapeutic Stretching® teaches how to restore coordinated, functional movement once tissue change occurs.

Together, they create a powerful, clinically relevant education pathway for practitioners seeking deeper understanding and better results.
