Both traditional string floss and water flossers are great for cleaning away food and plaque, and choosing the right one can help you stick with it!

🦷 The most important thing is to floss every day, but here are the main differences between the two: String floss does a good job of scraping along the sides of your teeth and under the gums. On the other hand, water flossers are gentle on your gums and great for cleaning around braces, bridges, or other dental work.

Find the method that fits into your routine best and if you have any questions, talk to your dentist or dental hygienist.

Happy Halloween! 🎃 As you enjoy your treats, remember that your oral health doesn’t have to be spooky.

If you can’t resist the goodies, it’s best to eat candy after a meal when your mouth is already full of saliva, and don’t forget to brush afterward. Drinking water while you eat candy can also help wash away sugars and acids.

We hope you have a frighteningly good day! 👻

It’s the season of sweet treats! However, not all candies are kind to your teeth. To keep your smile confident and bright, try to avoid hard, sticky, or sour candies, as they can be tough on your enamel.

If you’re looking for a better option to reach for, go for some dark chocolate! 🍫 It’s easier to wash away and doesn’t stick in your mouth. And as always, remember to brush afterwards!

The truth about whitening? It depends how you do it.

👨‍⚕️ Professional whitening treatments are safe and designed to protect enamel. But repeated or incorrect use of at-home products can do more harm than good.

When in doubt, talk to your dentist before you brighten.

🍁 Fall is full of cozy sips — but not all of them are great for your smile.

👍 Go for: Unsweetened herbal tea, sugar-free hot cocoa, green smoothies.
👎 Limit: sugary lattes, cider, and sweetened chai tea.

If you do treat yourself to a sugary or acidic drink, make sure to swish water and rinse. Your teeth will thank you all season long!
