This is it! I'm so excited to finally announce my brand-new picture book, "Something Is Happening"!

This book is a real passion project and a complete departure from the world of Yeet the Beet. It’s a 36-page hardcover story told with a minimalist, deadpan sense of humor, and the illustrations carry all the emotion and suspense. It's a book for clever kids and their parents.

The pre-order event is coming soon!

Here are the details:

WHAT: A 14-day pre-order campaign for signed, first-edition copies.

WHEN: November 4th – November 18th.

WHERE: Exclusively on Kickstarter.

For independent authors like me, Amazon doesn't allow pre-orders for print books, so this Kickstarter will be the one and only way to reserve a signed copy and get it before the official release on December 2nd.

We'll have some awesome tiers, including bundles with Yeet the Beet and the LAST 10 Yeet the Beet PLUSHIES... ever!

Well the twins decided sleep wasn't off the table this morning. First Finn then when he finally went to sleep Oliver woke up. I made the most of the bottle times and worked on the cover for my next project. I have some centering to work out and a little more details but its pretty much all set!

Alright everyone, here’s one more little sneak peek of my new project, Something is Happening!
I've been having so much fun working on this one, but this will be the last look you get inside the book for a little while. Why? Because the next big reveal will be the cover!
I'm so close to the finish line on this draft, only 5 pages left to illustrate, and then it's on to designing the cover. Can't wait to share it with you all, hopefully soon!

Something Is Happening......

Hey everyone! A little update from my writing corner. When I first wrote Yeet the Beet for my son Owen, I never imagined how much this little beet's world would grow. Well, thanks to the inspiration from my three amazing boys, it has!

I'm thrilled to share that I've finished writing five brand new Yeet the Beet stories. It’s been a joy to explore new adventures and feelings with these characters. Here are the titles and a little bit about each one:

Yeet the Beet and the Great Garden Rescue: A story of teamwork and bravery when a new friend needs help.

Yeet the Beet and the Invasion of the Pests: A funny tale about looking past appearances and finding friends in unlikely places.

Yeet the Beet and the Little Sprouts: A heartfelt look at becoming a big brother and all the big feelings that come with it.

Yeet the Beet and the Fading Flower: A tender story to help talk about loss, memory, and how love continues to grow.

Trick or Yeet: Our first holiday special! Get ready for costumes, silly scares, and a new Halloween tradition.
