Joshua’s Home 501(C) 3 Mission: Rebuilding Lives One Family at a Time. We shelter homeless mothers & their children when they enter our 12 month empowerment program. Within 12 months, they have an apartment of their own. As soon as they arrive, they are personally assigned an extensive network of professionals. We get to the heart of the matter; quickly ministering to their mind, spirits, souls and bodies. Included in the professional services are licensed: social workers, case managers, ministers, natural doctors, medical doctors, life coaches plus more! We are also working to save between $64-217,000 for every child kept out of the welfare or foster care system. For every$1 spent on early intervention, $7 is saved against the (more than $100 billion/year) money spent on crime, violence, mental health and addiction. Considering the trillions of dollars the government has already sequestered, the community (including the dept. of social services, dept. of family services, hospitals and parole board) is calling for us to impact more lives. In order to expand our efforts, we are conducting a campaign. We are raising funds for the following:
Purchase of a residential or group home in your neighborhood that will provide the successful program that Joshua's Home offers underserved families.
