This American Heart Association BLS Provider certification training class is an in-person hands-on Advanced CPR training class for individuals who have a job-related duty to respond to emergencies. Participants learn how to recognize and provide care in respiratory & cardiac emergencies for adults, children, & infants, with special emphasis on two rescuer, & Multi-Rescuer High Performance Team CPR, use of the bag mask & Automated External Defibrillator AED. This course is required for medical professionals, doctors, physicians, nurses, CNA, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical & occupational therapists, physician’s assistants, residents or fellows, medical students & nursing students. In the past this course has had the following names, BCLS, BLS for Healthcare Providers.
This BLS Provider certification training course also meets the Advanced CPR requirement for New York Summer Camp Health Directors and trip leaders.
