We are incredibly grateful to WoodmenLife and our dear barn friends, Courtney and Alex, for presenting Beyond Boundaries with the WoodmenLife Outreach Foundation Grant! 💛🐴

This generous support will fund much-needed updates to our barn, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead. Big plans are in motion to improve the interior of our space—enhancing safety, efficiency, and overall functionality for our horses, staff, and the amazing clients we serve every day.

It truly takes a community to make this work possible, and we are so thankful to have supporters who believe in our mission and invest in our future. 💫

Whether it’s hopping into hearts or sitting quietly in someone’s lap, Strudel reminds us that healing and happiness can come in all shapes and sizes. 💫

PLAY is our favorite form of therapy at the barn! 🐴💛

At first glance, it might look like we’re just having fun—and we are! 🎉 But every game has a purpose. Tossing bean bags, shooting basketballs, weaving through cones, and reaching for targets on horseback all help our riders build strength, coordination, balance, and confidence. 💪🎯

These playful activities encourage focus, improve motor skills, and strengthen the connection between horse and rider. Plus, when therapy feels like a game, riders stay engaged, motivated, and excited to keep learning! 😊

Around here, big goals are reached through laughter, movement, and a whole lot of play. 🐎✨

At Beyond Boundaries, the connection between horse and human is at the heart of everything we do 🐴💛

This bond is so much more than just riding—it’s about trust, communication, and mutual understanding. Our riders learn how to connect with their horse through gentle cues, body language, and care, while our incredible horses respond with patience, intuition, and acceptance.

The benefits go both ways ✨
For riders, this connection can build confidence, improve emotional regulation, strengthen communication skills, and create a powerful sense of accomplishment. For our horses, it provides purpose, engagement, and the opportunity to form meaningful partnerships with each individual they work with.
