The residents got to enjoy making crafts this morning in making butterflies out of coffee filters! They turned out super cute and now get to hang up in the activity room! They also get to enjoy looking at some new window art that Lynn made for them.
They have also done a lot of exercising lately that includes chair exercises outside, playing noodle ball, and bowling in the living room!
We also have several residents that enjoy working on different puzzles in the activities room. They do a great job of working on them together, or one resident finishes it and will pull out a new one for another resident to start. A lot of activity fun around here lately!

The residents got an adorable surprise on both Saturday and this morning! Randy and Claire Sandbothe bought up some baby lambs for the residents to love on. They got to meet Clarence and Cindy, and got to watch them be bottle fed.
What an awesome surprise! They sure do love their live animals, especially babies! Thank you to Randy and Claire for thinking of us to come visit with!

2026 Resident Easter Party!
The residents had an Easter themed photoshoot with Adi this morning, but they got a big surprise to have their picture taken while holding baby chicks! Oh my it is cuteness overload! Thank you to Meghan Welty for bring the chicks to visit the residents!
They had an easter egg hunt to find 150 eggs in total, and had 1 golden egg as the supreme winner. Linda collected the most regular eggs and Agnes found the golden egg!
They played toss the ring on the bunny ears where we had multiple residents get 3 out of 4 rings on the bunny! They then had to guess the number of bunny tails that were in the jar. Ann was the winner by guessing 91 when there was 93 in the jar!
They got to enjoy some delicious snacks while playing these games, and each resident got an Easter basket from the owners and Tina.
They had a wonderful lunch of KFC Bowls, Biscuits, and a Cupcake made by Jess to finish off their party!
We are wishing our residents, residents families, staff, and our community to have a very blessed Easter!

Our fun activities lately include: having an indoor garage sale where the residents were able to bring things from their rooms to give a new home, getting some good exercise with chair zumba, painting individual flower pots and then planting seeds in their pots that afternoon, and a group were taken to explore out at the Runge Center! They enjoyed being outside by seeing all the nature and learning about animals inside!
They have been taking advantage of the beautiful weather lately and sitting outside on the front patio! Be sure to drive by and wave!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
The residents dressed to impress today by wearing something green and they looked fabulous! They made little clovers to decorate around the facility today, and then had a little party while playing bingo which was enjoyed with cake and punch. And Jess made some delicious Green Velvet Cupcakes the residents and staff got to enjoy at lunch!

The residents had a really fun afternoon with the Blair Oaks NHS group, they came to play board games such as UNO and Skip Bo and worked on a puzzle with them! They absolutely love when young kids come in to visit, talk, and hang out with them!
They had an indoor picnic day with a spring theme of having flower decorations while enjoying some snacks and playing card games.
They had a really fun day on Monday being outside in the fresh air and got to fly kites! And to start getting ready for some spring weather, they decorated the windows in the activities room with flowers and bunnies with beautiful bright colors!
So much fun within the last couple of weeks with activities and company!

We are a licensed Residential Care Facility. We are not a nursing home. Our Residential Care Facility holds only 18 residents which allows us to provide a very personal and intimate home-like setting. It also allows us to get to know each and every one of our residents. We provide private living quarters, 49" television with dish network, 3 home cooked meals a day, housekeeping, laundry, 24 hour supervision, and assistance with basic activities. We also provide assistance with showers if needed. We administer medications and handle refilling prescriptions and provide transportation to and from doctors appointments. We have an activities program to keep our residents active, and we spend one on one time with our Residents to keep them company. We have an in house beauty salon if they choose to use. Our goal is to encourage our residents to be as independent as possible, yet keep them safe in doing so with the integrity they deserve. We encourage visitors to come often. Play cards, share a meal, or just sit and spend time with them. We hope to give the families of our Residents peace of mind that their loved one is well care for and in a healthy and safe environment. Please call Gina at 573-301-1616 if you would like a tour or just stop by anytime! We are located in Wardsville Missouri (1425 Ashbury Way, Wardsville, Missouri 65101)
