💙 Pathfinders Visit at Cedarbrook Village! 💙
We had such a great time with the Pathfinder students today! They came to do activities with our residents, and we shared so many meaningful conversations together. It’s always inspiring to see our future generation connecting, learning, and spreading kindness. 🌟
A big thank you to Tony and Kassandra for making this wonderful program possible — we appreciate you so much! 💕

🎃✨ Pumpkin Party Time! ✨🎃
What a boo-tiful day of pumpkin fun! 👻 Our residents rolled up their sleeves and got creative — first carving our giant pumpkin from Meadowbrook Farm into a glowing jack-o’-lantern, then giving our sugar pumpkins some personality with silly sticker faces!
There were lots of laughs, a little pumpkin “goo,” and tons of fall spirit all around!

🎃 Pumpkin Fun at Meadowbrook Farm! 🎃
Our residents had a gourd-geous time on our recent outing to Meadowbrook Farm in East Longmeadow! A huge shoutout and thank you to the amazing team there — they generously gave each of our residents a free sugar pumpkin!
Everyone was in awe of the huge variety (and size!) of the pumpkins on display. We can’t wait to show you what’s next ;stay tuned as we transform one of these beauties into a jack-o’-lantern for our community scarecrow!

We knew these Caramel Apple Oatmeal Cream Pies were good…
But we didn’t expect our residents to literally lick the plates clean — and we mean actually licked the plates! 😂
Baking Club was a hit (and a little sticky)! These sweet fall treats had the whole room smelling like a cozy kitchen straight out of a country cookbook. The laughter, the crumbs, the caramel — we loved every minute of it!
Who needs store-bought when you've got this kind of homemade magic?

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful trip to Mineral Hills Winery, and it did not disappoint! 🍷🍇 Between the fresh air, good company, and stunning views, it was just what we needed to welcome fall with open arms.
Here’s to crisp days, changing leaves, and a fresh start to the season. We can’t wait to see what’s in store! 🍁✨

👩‍🌾 Scarecrow building day at Crossroad was a blast! STRAW. WAS. EVERYWHERE. And we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Our residents rolled up their sleeves and got to work making the most fabulous scarecrow you’ve ever seen — and had an absolute blast doing it!
There was laughing, joking, a little friendly chaos, and a whole lot of creativity flying around (along with the straw 😄). Who knew scarecrow-making could turn into such a comedy show?
We may have made a bit of a mess… but we made even more memories.

About us

Tucked into the verdant hills of the Pioneer Valley is the town of Ware, Massachusetts. Named the “Manour of Peace” in 1716 by its founder, John Read, Ware remains to this day a quiet town that embraces commercial and recreational growth without allowing it to impose on the features that make Ware a wonderful place to live.

With a population just under 10,000, Ware embodies what it means to be a New England small town: abundant parks and rolling hills, river views, and a busy, historical town center. But don’t let this town’s rural feel fool you. The Main Street shopping district was the hub of 18th century community life; today, it still provides a strong service economy replete with inns and taverns and locally owned shops. Recreational services, a strong educational system, and easy access to commercial transportation all bolster Ware’s appeal to residents and visitors alike.

Located just 27 miles east of the Springfield metropolitan area and west of Worcester, Ware is an easy drive to the cultural amenities and employment opportunities afforded by the larger cities, yet within reach of a quiet community to call home. Hartford, CT is an hour’s drive south and Boston is 90 minutes to the east. Ware is within easy reach of commuter rails and both Hartford's Bradley International and Boston Logan International Airport.

While visiting with loved ones at this Everbrook community, be sure to make time for the great outdoors: In additional to walkways, bike paths, and fishing spots at local Ware parks, the Berkshire Mountains are a short drive away and offers more vigorous activities: hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and skiing. For a slower pace, enjoy the shops, museums, and historical sites in and around Lenox village. Conclude the day with dinner or a spa treatment at Canyon Ranch or the holistic/yoga retreat center, Kripalu. If the grandkids are visiting, the whole family can enjoy a daytrip or overnight stay at the indoor water resort, Great Wolf Lodge, or hang out with the Looney Tunes characters and enjoy the thrilling rides at Six Flags New England amusement park just outside of Springfield.
