📚☕ Coffee & Barnes & Noble Adventures!
Our senior living crew enjoyed the coziest outing today — a little caffeine, a little book browsing, and a whole lot of good company!
We sipped our favorite drinks, explored every aisle (some of us found books, others found “dangerous” gift displays 👀), and shared plenty of laughs along the way. Nothing beats a day filled with friends, warm coffee, and the promise of a brand-new read.
Here’s to simple joys, good stories, and even better company. ❤️
Until our next adventure!

🧡🍂 Friendsgiving Blessings 🍂🧡
Our senior living community came together for the most wonderful Friendsgiving potluck, and our hearts (and plates!) couldn’t be more full!

From homemade favorites to new dishes we tried for the first time, everything was made with love.
We shared secret-family recipes, desserts that suspiciously vanished before dinner (no judgment 😉), and enough laughter to count as a workout. Some of us are still recovering from the “just one more bite” phase… which may last until Tuesday.
But the very best part? Spending the day with friends who feel like family. The stories, the hugs, the togetherness. These are the things that make our community so special.

Happy Friendsgiving to all — may your hearts be full, your plates fuller, and your leftovers last as long as your smiles! 🥧❤️

Baking Club is back and sweeter than ever!
We had a bunch of new faces join in today — and wow, what a turnout! The kitchen was buzzing, the jokes were flying, and the smell of brown sugar maple cookies had everyone hovering around the oven. 🤣
These cookies were ridiculously easy to make… and dangerously delicious. We’re talking “try one and suddenly three are gone” levels of amazing. 🤤✨
Can’t wait to see what trouble—uh, treats—we bake up next!

Pumpkin pie & community quilting! 🍂🧵
Our residents have started a beautiful community quilting project. Each resident is creating their own quilt square — signing their name, adding a doodle, and stitching it with care. All the squares will be sewn together into a special tapestry that reflects the heart and creativity of our community. ❤️
Stay tuned as we share the progress of this meaningful project!
After all the hard work, we enjoyed some delicious pumpkin pie and warm apple cider together. The perfect fall treat! 🥧🍎🍁
Love seeing everyone come together in such a cozy, creative way.

Celebrating National Princess Day in Royal Style 👑✨
Today, our community embraced the magic of National Princess Day. Everyone was crowned with a sprinkle of sparkle, then treated to fizzy drinks and the cutest mini cupcakes you’ve ever seen. 🧁
Laughter filled the halls, tiaras were tilted just right, and our seniors enjoyed their reign as royalty — if only for the day. A little enchantment goes a long way! ✨👑💖

Our very own resident, Richard Pluta, and Roberta our wonderful musical therapist, put on a fabulous show for Thursday Night! 🎶💛
The video didn’t turn out the way I hoped, but I still had to share because this moment was just too special. Richard had such a big crowd — all our residents came out to listen, cheer, and support. It was truly heartwarming to see. 🥰✨
So proud of our community and the joy they bring to each other!

On December 2nd, we’re opening our doors for an afternoon of carolers, refreshments, and community as we support Toys for Tots. If you’re able, please bring a new, unwrapped toy to help brighten a child’s Christmas.

If you can’t join us that day, donations are welcome until December 13th and can be dropped off in our lobby between 8 and 5.
Thank you for helping us share joy with local families this holiday season. ❤

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸
Yesterday we gathered not just as neighbors and friends, but as a family -a family that is honored to share this community with 24 remarkable individuals who once wore the uniform of our nation!
To our veterans: Thank you!
Thank you, for you have carried the weight of freedom on your shoulders. You stood watch, sacrificed, and faced challenges most of us can only imagine. Because of your courage and commitment, we live in peace and with the freedoms we sometimes take for granted.
You’ve shown us what it means to serve- with honor, resilience, and heart. And even here in our community you continue to inspire us with you strength, humor and kindness every day.

Here’s to you - our heroes!

What a Scent-sational Adventure! 🎉🕯️🚌
Our residents were on the move for a fun-filled all-day trip to Yankee Candle Village!
From exploring the colorful shops and festive displays to sniffing every candle in sight (because how can you choose just one?! 😄), laughter filled the air all day long!
There were smiles, stories, and maybe even a few new favorite scents to bring back home.
Nothing beats a day out with great friends, fresh air, and a little shopping spree!
We can’t wait for our next adventure! 💛

GOAT THERAPY = SMILES, JOY & LOVE! 🐐

What a wonderful day in our activity room! It was filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of love with a Goat Therapy session.
The goats brought their playful energy and gentle snuggles, reminding us that happiness truly comes in all shapes, sizes… and sometimes with four hooves! 😄
There were giggles, a few bleats, and endless smiles as everyone connected, shared stories, and soaked up the joy these adorable goats brought.
Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make our space feel so full of warmth and fun. Our hearts (and the goats!) are still smiling. 🐐💚

About us

Tucked into the verdant hills of the Pioneer Valley is the town of Ware, Massachusetts. Named the “Manour of Peace” in 1716 by its founder, John Read, Ware remains to this day a quiet town that embraces commercial and recreational growth without allowing it to impose on the features that make Ware a wonderful place to live.

With a population just under 10,000, Ware embodies what it means to be a New England small town: abundant parks and rolling hills, river views, and a busy, historical town center. But don’t let this town’s rural feel fool you. The Main Street shopping district was the hub of 18th century community life; today, it still provides a strong service economy replete with inns and taverns and locally owned shops. Recreational services, a strong educational system, and easy access to commercial transportation all bolster Ware’s appeal to residents and visitors alike.

Located just 27 miles east of the Springfield metropolitan area and west of Worcester, Ware is an easy drive to the cultural amenities and employment opportunities afforded by the larger cities, yet within reach of a quiet community to call home. Hartford, CT is an hour’s drive south and Boston is 90 minutes to the east. Ware is within easy reach of commuter rails and both Hartford's Bradley International and Boston Logan International Airport.

While visiting with loved ones at this Everbrook community, be sure to make time for the great outdoors: In additional to walkways, bike paths, and fishing spots at local Ware parks, the Berkshire Mountains are a short drive away and offers more vigorous activities: hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and skiing. For a slower pace, enjoy the shops, museums, and historical sites in and around Lenox village. Conclude the day with dinner or a spa treatment at Canyon Ranch or the holistic/yoga retreat center, Kripalu. If the grandkids are visiting, the whole family can enjoy a daytrip or overnight stay at the indoor water resort, Great Wolf Lodge, or hang out with the Looney Tunes characters and enjoy the thrilling rides at Six Flags New England amusement park just outside of Springfield.
