Melvina “Vennie” (Waller) Case born on April 12th, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Homer Waller and Ruby Hodge. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She showed her love to everyone she met. She was a faithful child of God and attended the Full Gospel Church of Jesus.
She is preceded in death by her husband David Case, son Homer Williams, brother Jerry Waller, sisters Sherry, Terry, Hailey, Betty Carol, Lula Jane.
She leaves behind the love of her life Jimmy Williams, daughter Polly Williams (Mark Heath). Estella Williams (Dave Compton), Bernice Maynard, sister Ireda Williams, brother Leslie Williams, Clarence (Dee Dee) Williams, grandchildren Somer (James) Maynard, Rockie Messer, Ruby Martin, Loretta (Chase) Kincaid, Jimmy (Katrina) Moore, Cecil Moore, Angel Johnson, 13 greatgrandchildren, several nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, special niece that she loved as her own Sherry Lynn Hundley, special friends Louise Williamson, Gene Parsley, Mary Jean Baisden, and one she called the bestest son in law in the world Earl Johnson.
Visitation will be at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus on Jennies Creek in Wv on Monday April 27th, 2026, from 4pm until 11pm, Tuesday April 28th, 2026, from 2pm until 11pm with services at 7pm. Funeral Services Wednesday April 29th, 2026, at 1pm. Officiating will be James Maynard and Clifford Waller. Burial will be at the Waller Family Cemetery up Lick Skillet Rd on Jennies Creek, Wv. Kennie Verlene (Moore) Preece, age 83 of Inez, Ky passed away April 24th, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 10th, 1943, to the late Roosevelt and Lucy Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roscoe Preece, five brothers Jonie Moore, Lacy Moore, Junior Moore, Eugene Moore, and McKinley Moore, sisters Addie Farley and twin sister Vinnie Moore.
She is survived by one son Gregory (Tiffany) Preece of Inez, Ky, Eight grandchildren Courtney Little, Justin Preece, Coty Preece, Rocky Preece, Mary Ann Wilson, Aaliyah Scott, Bailee Scott, and Ryan (Red) Bowens, Three great grandchildren Brody Little, Aubryanna McKinister, and Elijah Preece, four sisters Dorthy Robinson, Arizona Horn, Judy Kline, and Virgie Muncy, one brother Ballard Moore and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends that loved her dearly.

John Benjiam Stevens, 68, of Long Branch, Ky went home to be with the Lord on April 15th, 2026, at Pikeville Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 31st, 1957, to the late Walter and Fannie Bailey Stevens.
He is preceded by death by his sister Soldia Stevens Mott, 2 brothers Walter Lee Stevens, Thomas Lee Stevens, his loving companion of over 20 years Marie (Marcum) Jude.
He had one of the biggest hearts and was always smiling. He had a contagious Laugh. He loved his family more than anything, especially his great grand baby. He loved his dog named Girl and was very family oriented. He was a former contractor for Stevens Blacktopping. He was of the Freewill Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his sons John Mickal Stevens of Long Branch, Ky, and Joey (Linda) Stevens of Long Branch, Ky, and daughter Deana Stevens Maynard (Jeremy Plank) of Johnson Co. Ky, 6 grandchildren Faith Maynard, Ezrah Maynard, Lucas Maynard, Ada Harless, Jasmine Stevens, Eli Plank, 1 great grandchild Haven Smith, brother Phillip Sheridian (Alice) Stevens of Flatwood, Ky, sisters Rachel Stevens (Thurell) Stepp of Long Branch, Ky, Nancy Stevens of Ohio, Hester Stevens Pack of Ohio as well as a host of nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Friday April 17th, 2026, at the Stevens Cemetery in Long Branch, Ky at 12pm. Visitation will be Thursday April 16th, 2026, from 5pm until 8pm at Mullins Family Funeral Home. Officiating will be Tim Preece. Burial to follow services. Jennetie Muncy, 81, went home to be with Jesus on April 14th, 2026, passing peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
A woman of unwavering faith. Jennetie was a devoted Christian who walked closely with the Lord throughout her life. She was a faithful member of Perry Point Church for many years. Her life was a living testament to her beliefs, defined by kindness, prayer, and a servant’s heart.
Jennetie was the daughter of the late Vess and Arizona Spaulding Marcum.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alice block, and her siblings Emma Block, Marie Jude, Elizabeth Newsome, and Cecil Marcum, Lola Justice, Flim Marcum, Liddy Marcum.
Jennetie is survived by a large and loving family that will miss her dearly including: Her children; Vess (Paula) Muncy, Betty (Harold) Dingess, Crystal Muncy (John Runyon)- son-in-law, Arnold Block, siblings; Landon Marcum, Kessler Marcum, Johnny Marcum, Verlie Brewer, Ollie Spaulding, and Rosetta Alley, grandchildren, Angel Maynard, Matt Muncy, Melissa Stroud, and Casey Runyon, great grand children Jacob (RaeAnn) Maynard, Aria (Tanner) Sturgill, Ayden Maynard, Abram Stroud, Colton Stroud, Briella Stroud, Emory Muncy, and Ariabella Muncy.
Jennetie’s legacy of faith and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. The impact of her love remains a guiding light for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Perry Point Church in Jennies Creek, Wv. Thursday April 16th, after 4pm until time of services on Friday April 17th, 2026 at 1pm. Officiating will be Joe Maynard. Burial will be at the Perry Point Cemetery in Jennies Creek, Wv. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Jennetie Muncy.

James Harrison “Bear” Muncy, 91 of Grey Eagle, Wv went home to be with the Lord on March 31st, 2026. Bear passed away at Highlands ARH Prestonsburg, Ky at 1218 am due to a sudden illness. Bear was born on April 7th, 1934, and the oldest son of Columbus Muncy and Laudie Steele (Moore). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Muncy, brothers Grover, Eugene, Tootsie, Blondie and Junior Muncy and his only sister Nellie Muncy. Although Bear had no children, he had a passionate love for all animals and adopted and cared for many. Bear was a proud Army Veteran who loved his country.
He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Betty Preece and sister-in-law caregiver Mabel Muncy and special friends Rhonda and Gabe Muncy and Cathy Clay.
Per his request there will e no funeral services. His remains will be laid to rest at the Kentucky State Cemetery in Greenup Ky. Arrangements are under the direction of Mullins Funeral Home in Warfield, Ky. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of James Harrison “Bear” Muncy.

Odessa Marie Fields, 57, of Kermit, Wv went home to be with the Lord March 27th, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 19th, 1968 to the late Jeff and Ruth Jude Collins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Clancy Fields, siblings Darlene, John, Jimmy, Ronald, Lucille, Rose, Ima Collins.
She was a housewife and of Christian faith.
She is survived by her sons Howard Collins of Kermit, Wv, Justin Lee Fields of Kermit, Wv, Andy Fields of Kermit, Wv and 3 stepsons Charlie Ray Spencer, Clancy Fields Jr, and Chancy Eugene Fields, grandchildren Destiny Fields, Addison Collins, and several more grand and great grandchildren, sisters Becky (Neely) Patrick of Inez, Ky, Debra Bartley of Ohio, Leatha Smith of Kermit, Wv, Mary Cline of Kermit, Wv, Ina Grace of Missouri as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Linda Carol Scott Fletcher 59 of Pilgrim, Ky went home to be with the Lord on March 20th, 2026. She was born on April 13th, 1966, to the late Wayne and Ruby Scott.
She is preceded in death by brother Carl Scott and sisters Brenda Scott and Angie Scott McCoy.
She was a housewife and a member of the Martin Co Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by spouse Harold Fletcher, sons Adam Porter, Josh Scott, daughter Amanda Jarvis, Amy Jude, Kathy Stepp, Stepdaughter Tammy Mullett, Many grand children and great grandchildren, brothers Darrell Scott, Jimmy (Desiree) Scott, Michael Scott, Jason Scott, sisters Katherine Lilly, Geneva Sartin, Patricia Hill as well as host of family and friends.

Lorraine Spaulding Justice 67 of Jennies Creek, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on November 29, 1958 in Williamson, WV; she was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Marie Spaulding. Lorraine was preceded in death by her brother, Clayton Spaulding. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jennies Creek Baptist Church.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 48 years, Roger Lee Justice of Kermit, Wv, son, Roger Dale “Bub” (Jessica “Jessie”) Justice and daughter, Rebecca “Sis” (Tony) Sublett as well as grandchildren; Jacob “Leeroy” Justice, Olivia “Faith” Sublett, Luke “Lucky Luke” Sublett, Josie Raine Justice, and Zach Sublett. Lorraine is also survived by her siblings and their spouses, Lowell (Sarah) Spaulding, James (Lakie) Spaulding, Jessie (Brenda) Spaulding, Arvella Spaulding, and Alma Spaulding Blair. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who will miss her so much.

Visitation will be from 10am until 12:00pm Monday, March 23, 2026 at the Mullins Family Funeral Home with Funeral services starting at 12:00pm at the funeral home with Anthony Sartin officiating. Burial will follow in the Justice Family Cemetery on Jennies Creek Road, Kermit, Wv. William Douglas “PeeWee” Henderson 46 of Kermit, WV passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026 at his home in Kermit, WV. He was born on August 19, 1979 in South Williamson, KY; he was a son of the late Sam Henderson and Julie Davis. He was preceded in death by is parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other loved ones.
William was a former EMT. He is survived by his loving aunts, uncles, and cousins who will cherish the memories of “PeeWee.”
Visitation will be on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 10:00am til 12:00pm with cremation services to follow. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of William Douglas “PeeWee” Henderson.

Mullins Family Funeral Home, Story

I, Joseph Mullins along side my wife; Melissa Dempsey Mullins, and our son, Marvin Lee Mullins are the humbled owners of the Mullins Family Funeral Home. I have dreamed of one day owning my own funeral home and now with the help of God and the public we can now say we are here. I started working in a funeral home while still in high school during my junior and senior years. I worked in a student work program for Phelps & Son Funeral in Inez, KY; in which I am grateful to Bill, Billy, and Jenny Phelps for allowing me to serve there from 1998 til 2003. I went to Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Indiana where I obtained my degree in Mortuary Science. Coming back home in 2003 when I became licensed and in 2004 started working as a licensed embalmer and funeral director for Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home. I worked there until June of 2017 when I was blessed with an opportunity to serve the people of Martin County and the surrounding areas at my fullest capacity. I thank Sara, Kelly, and Keli Callaham-Ayers for the experience I acquired while working for them. As a minister I find it easy to sympathize with the families in there deepest times of sorrow. Here at Mullins Family Funeral Home we pride ourselves in being a family oriented funeral home and invite you to come by and experience our family atmosphere. May God Bless you and Your families.
