Our Busy Bees Parent & Me Class is an early interactive social and play group for little ones ages 1–3, welcoming children of all abilities. Led by an Impact Therapy therapist, this group focuses on building fine motor, gross motor, sensory, and social skills through fun, engaging play alongside a caregiver.

Side sitting isn’t “bad posture” — it’s actually a purposeful position we use in pediatric physical therapy!

✅ Builds core strength
✅ Improves balance and postural control
✅ Encourages weight-shifting and crossing midline
✅ Supports hip and pelvic stability
✅ Helps with transitions between sitting, crawling, and standing

💡 PT tip: Side sitting works best when children switch sides often so both sides of the body get stronger.

Intentional play positions = stronger, more confident movers 💛
