Congratulations to our 2025 Annual Ted the Turkey Contest winners! 🏆
🥇 Winner: Clown – $20 (Khloe)
🥈 1st Place: Ice Cream – $10 (Patez)
🥉 2nd Place: Spider-Man – $5 (Swatavious)

Our community partners had a tough job judging our turkeys this year! Every single turkey was so creative, colorful, and full of personality! We are truly blown away by the participation and hard work from our families. Thank you to our judges for taking the time to look through each one — it wasn’t easy!

Every participant received a special goodie for joining in the fun! 🍬💫

Centerville Head Start — Fatherhood Activity Photo Highlights 🍁🦃

Our dads and father figures showed up big! After cozy fall read-alouds, families crafted colorful handprint turkeys, teamed up on foam scarecrows, and made a little music together 🎶

So much creativity, conversation, and teamwork in one afternoon. Thank you to every parent, caregiver, and staff member who made this a memory-maker! 💛

🍂🌳 Leafy Learning at Byron HS!
As part of our Tree Study, our kiddos headed outside to jump, toss, and explore fall leaves—sorting by color and size, describing textures, and using big movements for gross-motor play. Nature = the best classroom!

🦃 Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt with Our Dads! 🍁

We had so much fun today during our Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt! Our dads (and father figures) showed up ready to laugh, explore, and make sweet memories with their little ones. ❤️

The children were SO excited to hunt for fall treasures, work together, and spend this special time with their dads before the holiday break. Moments like these mean so much to our families—and to us!

Thank you to every dad, grandpa, uncle, and father figure who joined in on the fun today. We appreciate you more than you know! 🧡

Snow Biz rolled in to surprise our kiddos with frosty fun. We practiced manners, color words, and counting while choosing flavors—and enjoyed a sweet community moment together. Big thanks to Snow Biz for making our day extra cool!

As part of our Tree Study, children gathered leaves, twigs, and small pinecones to trace the letters of their first names. We practiced letter recognition, fine-motor skills, and creativity—using treasures from nature to make our names shine!
