🏈👮 Jersey Day with our Community Helpers!

Our kiddos repped their favorite teams for Jersey Day and welcomed a special visit from our local police officer. We talked about safety, practiced listening and following directions, and learned how officers help keep our community strong!

Thank you to our officers and families for a fun, positive day of learning and school spirit.

🧼✨ Clean Hands = Healthy Friends! ✨🧼

At Treutlen Head Start, we know that washing our hands is one of the BEST ways to keep everyone healthy and happy! 🙌💧 Handwashing helps stop germs from spreading and keeps us safe from getting sick.

Here are the steps we use at school to make sure our hands are squeaky clean:
1️⃣ Wet our hands
2️⃣ Hit the handwashing timer button with our elbow ⏱️
3️⃣ Get a little soap 🧴
4️⃣ Wash the back, between our fingers, and our palms until the timer beeps (20 seconds!) 🎶
5️⃣ Rinse our hands 💦
6️⃣ Shake water off into the sink
7️⃣ Dry our hands with one paper towel 🧻
8️⃣ Throw the paper towel in the trash 🗑️

🖐️ Great job to all our little handwashing experts for keeping our center clean and germ-free! 💕

🍁🎉 Head Start Awareness + Fall Festival = Community Fun!

Crawford Head Start families joined us for an afternoon of games, crafts, and yummy fall treats—while learning about the services and supports Head Start provides. A special thank you to our local Fire Department for stopping by with the engine, sharing gear, and teaching fire safety tips. 🚒❤️

Events like this bring learning to life and connect families to resources that help children thrive. We loved celebrating together!

🎀 Red Ribbon Week at Treutlen Head Start! 🎀

We’ve had such a FUN week celebrating being drug free! 💪❤️ Our students and staff showed their spirit each day while learning how to make smart and healthy choices for their future! 🌟

😴 Wednesday: Pajama Day
🎃 Thursday: Costume Day
🔴 Friday: Red Ribbon Day

🚒 We also had a special visit this week from the Treutlen Fire Dept! The firefighters taught us all about fire safety and the important job of a fireman! 🔥👨‍🚒

📚 And Mrs. Jeannie, from the Treutlen County Library stopped by to share story time with us — the children loved it! ❤️

🚗🎃 To end the week, a wonderful group of parents helped set up our Trunk-or-Treat for the students — what a fun and festive way to wrap up the week! 🍬👻

The students and staff have had an absolute BALL this week! 🥳 We’re proud to say that at Treutlen Head Start, we choose to be drug free! 🚫✨

Lindsey Student Support Center in collaboration with Mamás Latinas de Middle Georgia, invite all families in our community to an event aimed at providing assistance with the USDA-TEFAP Food Pantry Registration Form.

🤝 Navigating assistance programs can be challenging, but you don't have to do it alone! This event is designed to offer hands-on help in a friendly and supportive environment, ensuring you can successfully complete your registration and access the resources you need.

🧦🎉 Wacky Tacky Day = Dress-Up + Giggles!
From mismatched socks and inside-out shirts to wild patterns and funky hats, our Fort Valley kiddos brought the silly style and big smiles. We used the fun to practice color words, patterns, and confidence—because being yourself is always in fashion!
