Forensic Peer Specialists bring something powerful to recovery support: lived experience.

At IHOPE, these trained peers use their personal journeys through recovery and the justice system to help others successfully transition back into the community. From connecting individuals to housing and employment resources to providing encouragement and accountability, peer support helps people rebuild stability and hope.

Because sometimes the best support comes from someone who truly understands the journey.

Meet Tina Moody

For 1,288 days, Tina has stayed committed to her recovery with the help of iHOPE transportation services, ensuring she can access her medication-assisted treatment (MAT) without barriers.

After her last hospitalization for overdose and sepsis, she met Peer Navigator Tim Berry and that connection helped change everything.

Today, Tina stands strong in her chosen recovery pathways: MAT and Faith, and shared her powerful testimony at the rally.

Her words say it best:
“iHOPE has saved my life!”

This scholarship was created in memory of our son Sebastian and rooted in love, remembrance, and hope.

It supports those continuing their education while carrying lived experience with substance use, either personally or within their family.

It is one small way we honor Sebastian’s life and continue his legacy.
