Strandburg, DMD is a native of central Georgia and after several years of study and work has been able to achieve his goal of “coming home” and buying a dental practice in Warner Robins, Georgia. Dr. Strandburg is the son of Gary and Carol Strandburg of Perry, Georgia. After graduating from Perry High School in 1994, he moved on to the Georgia Institute of Technology graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry. He married the former Haley Burns of Macon and together they moved to Augusta to pursue Mark’s dream of becoming a dentist. Dr. Strandburg received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. After graduating he worked for one year providing dental care to patients in nursing home facilities throughout Georgia. He was accepted as one of three residents for an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta. During that year Mark received in depth training in the areas of implant and complex restorative procedures. Dr. Strandburg is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Mark and Haley are proud parents of two young sons, Preston and Evan. He is an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Falcons, enjoys any type of family event, and in the future would love to get back on stage to perform in community theatre.
