🦷 Dental Assistants Recognition Week! 🦷

This week we’re celebrating two amazing members of our team — Courtney and Meredith!

Dental assistants are the heartbeat of a dental office. From preparing rooms and assisting during procedures to helping patients feel comfortable and cared for, they keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Courtney and Meredith bring hard work, compassion, and a positive attitude to our office every single day, and our patients are better for it.

Dr. Strandburg was proud to be invited to take part in the career fair hosted by Young Men's Service League - Perry. YMSL is a national mother-son organization for students in grades 9–12 that strengthens relationships while serving the community through volunteer work, leadership development, and shared experiences. It provides young men with opportunities to grow in character, compassion, and responsibility alongside their mothers and peers.

Businesses and professionals from across Middle Georgia were on site to share their career journeys, offer guidance, and inspire the next generation as they explore future paths. We loved connecting with these impressive young men and being part of a day focused on leadership, service, and possibilities ahead!

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Bruce Shaver.

In 2012, we had the privilege of purchasing our dental practice from Dr. Shaver. He was a kind, gentle, and humble man whose compassion and integrity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. It was truly an honor to continue caring for patients under the foundation he built—and an even greater honor to serve as his dentist after his retirement.

We are deeply grateful for the legacy he left behind, the trust he instilled in his patients, and the example he set in both dentistry and life. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
