This year's 2026 NAMI's Got Talent started and ended with a bang!! Our friends from Middle Flint Health & Wellness showed up and totally brought the house down. Whenever we require assistance, whether it be food, supplies, or other necessities, Brian has consistently been a reliable source of support. His benevolence extends beyond the mental health community to the broader community at large. NAMI Central Georgia had an incredible weekend, indulging in the richness of community and good food. We kicked off our weekend at the Yoders, feasting on homemade goodies like cake, pies, bread, and hearty meals that touched our hearts, and wrapped it up with a delightful Filipino meal that showcased the generosity of our community partners. NAMI Central Georgia has become a hub for training interns from all over the state of Georgia, and also outside of our Middle Georgia area, but we are most proud of the collaborative partnerships that we have developed in the Middle Georgia area, such as our partnership with Mercer University and their federal work study program. Meet Hailey, who has a 4.0 GPA, is a junior studying to be a neuroscientist, and is on a pre-med track. She has joined our team and has hit the ground running! We welcome Hailey to the NAMI Central Georgia family and hope you will too!
