Their performance was the perfect start to a joyful month! Our residents loved getting to chat with the students as well. 🎄❤️

💜 Celebrating Our Memory Care Neighborhood! 💜

Earlier this month, we had the joy of celebrating our incredible Memory Care residents and the dedicated associates who support them every day for National Memory Care Week. We wrapped up that fantastic week with a sweet treat everyone could enjoy — a delicious visit from a local coffee truck sponsored by GA Hospice Partners! ☕✨

Beyond that week, we have celebrated our Memory Care residents and associates all month long with fun intergenerational activities with our local high school seniors, community nature outings, and much more- check out all the FUN!

We’re still smiling as we look back on the incredible honor our Veterans received during a special parade through the halls of our neighbors at Lake Joy Elementary School earlier this month. The students’ cheers, handmade signs, and heartfelt gratitude made the day truly unforgettable. Watching generations come together to celebrate our heroes was a powerful reminder of the respect, love, and appreciation our Veterans inspire. ❤️💙 Thank you to Lake Joy Elementary for giving our Veterans a moment they’ll never forget — and to our brave heroes for their service, sacrifice, and strength. Proud, grateful, and honored — always. 👏

Last week, our hearts were truly full as the Lake Joy Lyrics Choir made their unforgettable first public appearance at our Vetsgiving celebration! 🎶 Check out their rendition of our National Anthem.

Our incredible choir—made up of both residents and associates—has already brought so much purpose, joy, and connection to our community. Under the inspiring leadership of our Wellness Director, Andrea Winters, RN, their voices have created something truly special here at Lake Joy. 💙 And we’re just getting started!

We can’t wait for their upcoming Christmas Show on Saturday, December 20th at 10:30 AM. We’d love for you to join us as we kick off the holiday season together in the most joyful way. 🎄 🎵

✨ WOW! What an amazing evening of fellowship! ✨

Last night, our community came together for our annual Vetsgiving Celebration, honoring our resident and community veterans with a delicious Thanksgiving meal. We proudly served 200+ guests, and the memories created will truly last a lifetime. We are incredibly grateful for our care partners who sponsored the event and provided door prizes and desserts as well as our countless volunteers—your support means the world to us.

Most importantly, we want to thank our amazing residents, who opened their doors and their hearts. Thank you for welcoming everyone into your home and for allowing us to be part of your story last night and every day. ❤️ It’s moments like these that create lasting connections and remind us how important community truly is—especially during the holiday season. 🦃❤️🤍💙🦃

🏈 Last Friday, we showed off our team spirit for National Jersey Day (Nov. 7th)— a celebration of the players, teams, and fans who make sports such a big part of our lives! From classic throwbacks to modern favorites, our residents and team members proudly wore their jerseys to represent their hometown heroes and favorite NFL teams. 🏈

Did you know? National Jersey Day was created to recognize the sense of unity and camaraderie that sports bring — reminding us that wearing a jersey isn’t just about the game, but about belonging to something bigger. Whether you cheer for the home team or a lifelong favorite, yesterday was all about celebrating the joy of the game and the connections it creates!
