Deerfield Behavioral Health of Warren (DBHW) announces the expansion of its team and services at the Deerfield Centers for Addictions Treatment (DCAT). This strategic enhancement reflects a deep commitment to addressing the growing needs of individuals in the region grappling with substance abuse and addiction.
DCAT offers an array of services that are crucial in supporting individuals on their path to recovery. These include thorough assessments, one-on-one outpatient therapy, and telehealth sessions. Additionally, DCAT provides an intensive outpatient program that allows individuals to receive focused treatment while still maintaining their daily responsibilities.
One of the added features of their addiction’s therapy approach is the medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program, which combines medications with counseling and behavioral therapies. This holistic approach not only alleviates withdrawal symptoms but also helps prevent relapse, making it a vital component of the recovery process. DCAT also offers certified recovery services and support groups to ensure that individuals have ongoing support even after they complete their treatment programs.
To welcome the newest member of their team, DBHW’s Executive Director Kim Fitton, PsyD, NCSP, stated, “We are so pleased to welcome Dan Minich, MBA, to our highly-skilled team of recovery specialists. Dan’s work is grounded in lived experience, deep personal faith, and a belief that real change happens when people are supported with both compassion and whole-health care, including physical, emotional, social and spiritual factors, to promote overall well-being”
Minich received a Master of Business Administration degree from St. Bonaventure University and he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, PA. He joins the DCAT team, including Christy Moore, CADC, CCDP; Diana Porebski, LMHC; Chris Giuffre and Kristopher Wright, Counselor Assistant. Minich brings a multidisciplinary background spanning financial planning, investment management, holistic health coaching and recovery support. Dan's leadership is expected to foster innovative approaches to treatment and expand DCAT's outreach efforts, ultimately benefiting more individuals in need of assistance.
