Most of you know my office is closed during the week between Christmas and New Year. I started this when my kids were young to spend some quality time with them and to catch up on CME at the end of the year. I continue this now because I have employees that need to enjoy time with their little ones. I still use the time for family things, clean out projects at home, and CME/paperwork. If you need me call and leave a message or send a message. As always I’ll still be available to take care of refills and urgent needs. We thank you for choosing us for your health care needs.

Our office will be open all day tomorrow 12/22. Tuesday times will be limited to sick only so I can finish up my Christmas preparations. We will see patients again on Dec 29. During the break I will be available by phone. Refills will be done on a regular basis, request those through your pharmacy.

Thank you to my amazing staff for thinking of me today on Boss’ Day! I had some cute balloons and candy which are my favorites. We also had lunch together today. I have the best team you could ask for! Ashley, Amy, Megan, Arleigh and Robin y’all make my life so much better!

I appreciate all of you being so understanding while I have been out with a family emergency. The office is still open, with refills being handled. You can also still get swabbed for flu/covid and some other minor things taken care of while the staff consults with me. Next week will likely be busy as we try to catch back up and we appreciate your continued patience.

In order to better serve you we are trying to be more consistent with our scheduling wellness, routine, sick appointments, and new patients. Please be understanding when we ask for a little more information about the reason for the current appointment. Hopefully this will decrease your wait time. Emergencies will always be handled when they arrive and we also are willing to work in sick patients within 24 hours.

Need to see Dr. George when the office is closed? Not a problem. Call and leave a message for a call back and a same day telemedicine can be set up. Not sure if something needs a trip to the ER? Just call our after hours line and the doctor will call you back.

Wednesday is sports physical day for Warren girls. 9-noon. This is year number 25 of volunteering this service. It’s always so fun to see the kids grown up through the years. If you are a patient that needs to be seen tomorrow, we will see sick patients after physicals. I’ll also do some preschool and school physicals for our patients if needed but please call to check for availability on those. If you miss out tomorrow, don’t worry another opportunity for free physicals will be Saturday August 16th at Grace Cowboy Church.

Wednesday, August 6th from 9-noon we will be doing sports physicals for Warren School District girls athletes. This is available to all girls free during this scheduled time. Other opportunities for free sports physicals and school physicals will be at the Medical Dental Mission hosted by Grace Cowboy Church on August 16th.
