✨ Meet Carrie Skidmore ✨

Carrie is our Human Resources Director here at Kinzua Nursing & Rehab, and in just four months, she has already become an important part of our team. In her role, Carrie is dedicated to supporting our employees and making sure everyone has the assistance they need to succeed. When asked what she enjoys most about her position, she says: “The people that I work with!”

Carrie takes pride in continuing to grow in her role, especially as she learns the many different aspects of human resources and scheduling. She’s motivated by a strong sense of pride in her work and finds the most joy in the sense of community among both staff and residents here at Kinzua.

Outside of work, Carrie loves spending time with her family. She is a proud mom of three and grandmother to two grandsons who mean the world to her. When she’s not with family, she enjoys relaxing and spending time at the beach.

We’re so glad to have Carrie as part of our team! 💙

🎉 Celebrating 20 Years of Dedication at Kinzua! 🎉

Today we honor Steve Romanosky and Tonya Haight, two incredible LPNs who went to nursing school together and have been part of the Kinzua family for 20 years!

Steve has spent the last 12 years in our ACU, and he loves caring for residents with the most complex needs—he says they inspire him and make his work so rewarding.

Tonya loves that her family has been such a big part of Kinzua over the years. Her sons Nick, Matt, and Tyler have worked here, and her daughter-in-law Chelsea currently works in our ACU. She even remembers the old days of paper records—like the time her red kool-aid spilled on a stack, leaving a month-long red curl in the charts. 😄

We are so grateful for Steve and Tonya’s 20 years of dedication, compassion, and countless memories. Thank you both for your incredible contributions to our residents and our team! 💙

🎉 Celebrating 39 Years of Dedication! 🎉

Today we are proud to recognize Kim Anderson, who is celebrating an incredible 39 years as a CNA at Kinzua Nursing & Rehab.

Kim says what she loves most about her work is getting to know our residents and hearing the many stories they have to share. Over the years, those moments have created plenty of memories — including one she still laughs about, when a resident confidently told a federal inspector exactly where he could go if he wasn’t going to help her get back into bed. It’s moments like those that remind us just how much personality, humor, and life experience our residents bring with them every day.

We are incredibly grateful for Kim’s compassion, dedication, and the care she has given to so many residents over the years.
