Meet our new Therapist:
Ellie Lobdell MS, CF-SLP
How long have you been with Excel?:
I started with Excel right after completing my Master’s of Speech-Language Pathology program at Edinboro University in June of 2025.
Why did you join Excel?:
I joined Excel because I was drawn to the private practice setting and the team's passion and commitment to helping each child progress in their speech and language abilities. I love having three seasoned SLPs as coworkers and mentors who are helping me develop my skills and grow professionally as a new therapist.
What do you love most about what you do?:
I love working with the kids most of all. I appreciate the mutual trust that develops among me, the kids and their families. It’s so fun to watch their confidence and abilities grow over time, and I love getting to be a part of their journey.
Tell us something you enjoy doing outside of work:
Outside of work I enjoy going boating, guiding upland hunts with my fiancé, spending time with my family and friends, and watching movies.
Tell us a fun fact about you:
I just got engaged to the man Erica set me up with! Who knew joining this team would lead to a wonderful career and a love story?
