~~~~~Recovery’s got talent is back!!!~~~~~
We will be starting Saturday April 18th at 6:00 pm. then every 3rd Saturday of the month until July. Saturday May 26th, Saturday June 20th, and Saturday July 18th at 6;00pm. The winners for April, May, and June will face off in July for a special grand prize. We will also be having a guest celebrity judge 💜 So join us for our first installment again Saturday, April 18 at 6 PM. All contestants must be in recovery, this is to share our experience strength and hope through talent ❤️‍🩹 We can have fun in recovery and be proud of ourselves today!

WHAT? NO PRESIDENT?

February 28
When told that our Society has no president having authority to govern it, no treasurer who can compel the payment of any dues, . . . our friends gasp and exclaim, "This simply can't be. . . ."

TWELVE STEPS AND TWELVE TRADITIONS, p. 132

When I finally made my way to A.A., I could not believe that there was no treasurer to "compel the payment of dues." I could not imagine an organization that didn't require monetary contributions in return for a service. It was my first and, thus far, only experience with getting "something for nothing." Because I did not feel used or conned by those in A.A., I was able to approach the program free from bias and with an open mind. They wanted nothing from me. What could I lose? I thank God for the wisdom of the early founders who knew so well the alcoholic's disdain for being manipulated.

If you are reading this, be grateful that you can!!! Some have no money for food let alone a phone, some cannot read, some have no eyes to see, some have no hands to scroll, and some are… resting eternally, eyes forever closed, but never forgotten ❤️‍🩹🙏🫶

WARREN, Mich. — Grind Time Pro Wrestling, owned by four-time Stanley Cup Champion Darren McCarty, will bring live, family-friendly professional wrestling to Warren, Michigan with “Wrestling 4 Recovery,” a special benefit fundraiser supporting the Eastside Alano Club, on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the MRCC Banquet Center.

The event will feature an action-packed night of live professional wrestling entertainment for fans of all ages, while raising funds to support recovery services and programs for individuals and families throughout the community.

One hundred percent (100%) of all proceeds from the event will be donated directly to the Eastside Alano Club.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with bell time at 7:30 p.m.
