✨ Community, Connection & Prevention in Action ✨

TCMHRB was proud to participate in the Power of Prevention Community Resource Fair, presented by Lineage Productions and held at Restoration Christian Fellowship Church in Warren.

This impactful event brought together approximately 200 community members for an afternoon centered on education, prevention, and empowerment. Attendees explored local resources, heard a meaningful presentation on the Power of Prevention, and enjoyed a young adult musical artist showcase—highlighting how music can serve as a healthy outlet for emotional expression and a positive coping tool. 🎶

We were honored to support this event alongside our partners. Nikita Warfield Owens, Co-Chair of the ASAP Faith-Based Subcommittee, served as the featured speaker, sharing powerful insight and inspiration. Also representing TCMHRB at the resource table were Kim Walker, Co-Chair of the ASAP Faith-Based Subcommittee, and TCMHRB Children’s Program Coordinator, helping connect attendees to prevention, mental health, and recovery resources.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success and to the community members who showed up to learn, connect, and support prevention efforts in Trumbull County. 💙

Today is Call a Friend Day, a reminder of the strength found in connection—especially for those navigating mental health challenges, substance use, or recovery.

If you’re feeling lonely, overwhelmed, or tempted to isolate, reaching out to someone you trust can be a powerful act of self-care and courage. Recovery and healing aren’t meant to be done alone. And if you know someone who may be struggling with addiction, mental health concerns, or thoughts of su***de, your call or message could be the lifeline they didn’t know how to ask for. 📞

Small acts of care—like reaching out—can create hope, support recovery, and even save lives.
