As we celebrate the season here at North Star Manor, we’ve been reflecting on the wonderful year that was 2025. It has been a year defined by fun and exciting activities, continued friendships, and making memories we will cherish forever. Whether through a shared laugh in the hallway or a new craft mastered, our community has truly shone bright.

We wish all of our residents, families, and friends a healthy and happy holiday season. May your days be merry and your hearts be light!

Looking ahead, we hope 2026 is filled with even more joy, laughter, and new adventures for everyone!

Every year, residents and families look forward to the Family Christmas program at North Star Manor—a cherished tradition that brings the joy of the season right to our care center. For many of our residents who are unable to attend Christmas services at their home churches, this celebration is an uplifting way to share the spirit of Christmas together with their loved ones.

On December 16, residents, great-grandchildren, staff, and volunteers presented a heartwarming Christmas program filled with music, Scripture readings, prayers, and a short message. One of the most memorable moments of the evening was the Living Nativity Pageant, featuring twelve of our residents who beautifully recreated the Nativity scene while a staff member sang “A Christmas Hallelujah.” Adding to the joy, baby Jesus was portrayed by the newborn son of our Activity Director.

Ten of our Northstar residents had a fantastic time at the annual Lions Turkey Bingo night at the Warren American Legion! A huge congratulations to our three residents who were winners tonight! The Lions reported an incredible turnout—50 more attendees than usual! We are so grateful that the proceeds from this wonderful event will support projects for the Northstar Community. Thank you to the Warren Lions Club for your incredible generosity and for hosting a memorable evening!

Bringing a little ray of sunshine into the building today! The WAO Elementary Kindergarten class stopped by to color with the residents. They enjoyed making colorful placemats. We loved hosting these wonderful kids!

We are looking forward to continuing to partner with WAO Elementary throughout the year so we can continue to bring joy to our residents and kindergarten friends.
