Another Monday and we've got an important meeting this week! This Tuesday, 4/23, will be our LAST body meeting for the semester! SDA will also be voting for next years Exec Board! See everyone at 3:30 in NM007!

Happy April UCM! We are now just over one month away from finals and summer break! We've got a few things for SDA happenin' this week:
- First, let's give a big shoutout and congrats to all the students that matched to their dietetic internships yesterday!
- Monday, April 8th Mini Meeting in Grinstead at 10:30 if you're unable to make the group meeting
- Tuesday, April 9th Body Meeting at 3:30 pm in NM007
- Upcoming:
Voting for next year's Exec Board will take place on April 23rd! Being an exec and serving on the SDA Board looks great on applications and resumes and is another good way to connect with other dietetics students. Come to meeting to find out more info!

Welcome back UCM students! We are now in the last stretch of the semester, so channel all the motivation you can because we've got to gut it out until the end. SDA is right back off to the races this week with meetings and upcoming events you won't want to miss!

*Tuesday, March 26th: 3:30 pm Member meeting in NM007 with special guest speaker and UCM grad Hannah DuVall talking about her (non-internship) route as a dietetics major!

*Monday, April 8th Nicole is speaking at the Veteran's home on diabetes information and healthy tips!

Happy National Nutrition Month! We're off to another blistering cold week... But hang in there because only 2 more weeks until spring break! Until then... here's what's going on for SDA this week:
-Monday, March 4th @ 10:30 am Mini Meeting in Grinstead Dining Room
- Tuesday, March 5th @ 3:30 pm SDA Body Meeting in NM 007. This week's meeting we'll have guest speaker Aimee Oerke a clinical dietitian, you won't want to miss out!
- Tuesday, March 5th is Gamma Phi Beta's Mental and Physical Health Event from 5:30-7:30 pm
*CHIPOLTE FUNDRAISER* Tuesday, March 5th from 5-9pm... Spread the word! (Show attached flyer at the register for a percentage of the proceeds to come back to SDA)

It's Monday! What a time to be alive for an SDA member! The activities aren't slowing down anytime soon and we've got a good-lookin' agenda for this week...
- Tuesday, Feb. 26th is National Pistachio Day! But we also have the Healthy Lifestyle Booth from 2:15-4:15 in the Rec. Stop by for some free giveaways and (ever-needed) stress-management tips from UCM's Body U program!
- Wednesday, Feb. 27th is the Cooking Demonstration with Chef Karen from 5:30-6:30 pm.m
- The deadline to submit an application for the Regina Myers McClain scholarship is THIS Friday, March 1st. This is only for dietetics majors and there are up to 12 awards given out... please apply!
- Saturday, March 2nd is the "Commit to Fit" event at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, MO. Volunteers are needed! If interested, contact an exec!
- Coming up... Next Tuesday, March 5th is the SDA Fundraiser at Chipotle! (5:00-9:00 p.m.) If you need an excuse to eat some darn good burritos then we got you! Start spreading the news!

- Today at 10:30 mini meeting in the Grinstead Dining Room (if you can't make the body meetings!)
- Tuesday, Feb 19th Body Meeting and you'll want to be there! *Megan will be talking about DICAS! Not sure what that is or have questions on it? Come check it out at 3:30 in NM007. *We will also be voting for the Public Relations position, if you're running come with a short speech. *We'll also be discussing all the volunteer opportunities that are going on

New week... new announcements!
Today, 2/4 is the first mini meeting for SDA! If you're unable to make it to body meetings then be sure to be in the Grinstead dining room at 10:30 this morning with the lovely Tyler Downs
Tuesday, 2/5 SDA Body Meeting in NM 007 at 3:30. You won't want to miss out because we have former UCM grad, Jordan Furrell coming to speak! He recently finished his dietetic internship and this is the perfect opportunity to ask any questions you might have!
*We will also be conducting the voting for the available PR position. If you're running, please prepare to give a small speech on why you're a good candidate!
If you haven't paid your dues ($10/semester), please bring those as well. See everyone soon!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to classes and happy 2019! We have a lot of exciting things planned for SDA this semester we can't wait for you to be a part!
Our first meeting of the semester will be Tuesday, January 22nd at 3:30 in NM 007. You won't want to miss this as we'll be making announcements and talking about some events we have planned for the year. Remember you don't have to be a dietetics major to come! If you're thinking about dietetics or are wanting to get some more information, this is a great (FREE) way to come connect with students and ask questions.
