The Warren County Health Department is hosting a blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross on December 1, 2025, at the Warren County Armory Civic Center from 12:30-5:30.
December is one of the most critical months for blood donations. As families prepare for the holidays, blood supply levels often drop, yet the need never stops. Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. It could be a parent, a child, a neighbor, or even someone in your own family.
By donating blood, or making a Power Red donation, you can help ensure hospitals in our region have the lifesaving resources they need. Power Red donations are especially impactful. One Power Red donation counts as two units of red blood cells, helping twice as many patients in need.
Your donation can save the life of someone’s loved one.

On Tuesday, November 18th, Ripe for Revival Mobile Produce Market will be at the Warren County Senior Center (435 West Franklin Street, Warrenton, NC) from 10am-11:30am. The market is pay-what-you-can so above and beyond the vouchers provided by Trillium Health Resources, individuals who don't have enough money to pay in full will pay what they can.

The event is hosted in partnership with Infinite Possibilities, Inc., and features valuable information on:
• Domestic violence prevention
• Support services for survivors
• Local advocacy programs
• Ways you can make a difference

Everyone is encouraged to wear purple in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and share your photos with us. Please tag the health department on your social media posts.

Gloria Williams, Linda Johns and Chlestine Kearney recently attended the Association For Home Health and Hospice Leadership Conference at Wrightsville Beach October 5-7, 2025. They were able to attend many sessions needed to keep up with state and federal mandates for home health. They also were able to network with many vendors.
