Different minds. Same belonging.

April is Autism Acceptance Month, and for us, that goes beyond simply being aware. It’s about how we show up for one another in everyday moments.

Sometimes that looks like offering a wave instead of a second glance. Sometimes it’s inviting someone to join in, or taking a moment to start a conversation when it would be easier not to.

The people in our programs are not labels or diagnoses. They are neighbors, coworkers, teammates, and friends who are part of this community in every way that matters.

Inclusion does not have to be complicated. It often begins with something simple, like saying hello.

Let’s continue building a community where everyone feels seen, welcomed, and valued.

Heart is what keeps our mission moving! 💙

Camp We Can is right around the corner, and that kind of magic doesn’t happen without people willing to show up, jump in, and make a difference. Whether you’re leading activities, lending a hand, or simply sharing your energy with our campers… it all matters.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, we’d love to meet you.

Volunteering doesn’t look just one way here.
And that’s the beauty of it.

April is National Volunteer Month, and if you’ve ever wondered how you could be part of what we do… the answer is: more ways than you think.

You can cheer on athletes at Special Olympics.
You can spend a morning helping with a project in our day programs.
You can jump into the energy of Camp We Can and help create a summer kids will never forget.
You can give a few hours on-site… lending a hand, sharing a skill, or simply being present.

Some people come once.
Some come back again and again.
Some find their place and stay.

There’s no single way to show up… just a place for you when you do.
If you’ve been looking for a way to get involved, this is your sign.
Call us old-fashioned, but we’d love to meet you face-to-face. 🤍

💙 Today our day program showed up in BLUE! 💙

We’re proud to wear blue in support of Autism Awareness and to celebrate the incredible individuals who make our program so special every single day.

Autism is not a limitation—it’s a different way of seeing the world, full of unique strengths, talents, and perspectives. Today (and every day), we stand for understanding, inclusion, and acceptance.

Together, we can create a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported. 💙
