Meet Doctors Jim & Colleen

Dr. Jim sees symptoms as a way for the body, mind and spirit to communicate what it needs. By decoding these messages, he is able to provide patients with treatment plans that accommodate the whole-person not just a single aspect of them. He adjusts more than your spine, he adjusts your mind and spirit to create space, time and opportunity for your body to take good care of itself and regrow stronger, healthier and more vital. Nowhere is this more apparent than in his work with children where he has personally witnessed drastic results. From soothing inconsolable babies with colic to stopping chronic ear infections to seeing neural regeneration, Dr. Jim’s special blend of chiropractic care has provided hope to families where hope has been lost. Through the use of chiropractic techniques, muscle response testing and hands-on, non-forceful energy balancing procedures, Dr. Claussen brings a deeper level of healing and consciousness by re-establishing the full healing potential of the body. Understanding that the body makes no mistakes regarding health and longevity, B.E.S.T. principles acknowledge the concept of interference we create with our conscious mind. This interference causes imbalances in the autonomic nervous system, leading to exhaustion of our organ systems over time.

Dr. Colleen has always know that she wanted to work with children and moms. She learned the Webster technique and how to care for pregnant mothers in her pediatric training, but it wasn’t until she went through her own pregnancy that she really developed an appreciation for everything that a pregnant woman goes through physically and emotionally. Mothers are strong! She believes our bodies were intelligently designed for the beautiful process of birth; something our ancestors have been doing for thousands of years. All we need to do is listen to our hearts and we will know exactly what to do for ourselves and our children. She is determined to make it the standard that every mother, child, and family get adjusted. Her WHY is that big! She enjoys being part of the fantastic team of providers at The Health Doctors, Ltd. She is beyond excited to continue her passion for providing families and children with specific chiropractic care.
