Meet Charles, one of our talented artists at Little Friends’ Inklude Studio! 🎨✨
Charles recently surprised our President & CEO, Mike Briggs, with a hand‑painted portrait—one of his favorite artistic passions. He loves creating portraits of family, friends, celebrities, and personal heroes, each one serving as a heartfelt tribute to the people who inspire him.
His creativity doesn’t stop at painting. Charles has begun writing a book aimed at teaching others how to paint while exploring the world of art through his eyes. He also enjoys playing the piano and writing, making him a true multi‑talented artist within our community.
We’re so proud to celebrate Charles and his incredible gifts! 🎹📖🖼️

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, our production team members jump into fun, engaging exercise activities! Some days it’s stretching with TheraBands, other days it’s relaxing seated chair yoga, and sometimes it’s brain‑boosting games that get both our minds and muscles moving.
Last week’s game day lineup featured modified baseball, a Plinko challenge, and a ball maze—and the energy was fantastic! Participants earn stamps on their activity charts and can work toward exciting prizes as they stay active and involved.
We love seeing everyone show up, have fun, and stay healthy! 💪✨

We’re proud to share the success of our newest partnership with College!
Harper recently hosted an Inclusive Foundations of Manufacturing course for Little Friends Employment Services participants who are interested in careers in the trades. Throughout the course, students explored common manufacturing terminology, tools, and industry methods, while also building skills in blueprint reading, shop math, and workplace safety.
The highlight? Hands-on experience with plasma cutting and welding— working with real equipment alongside experienced professionals.
This opportunity builds on Little Friends’ Career Readiness and Exploration programming, giving young adults the chance to develop technical skills, gain confidence, and explore meaningful career pathways in manufacturing.
We’re incredibly grateful for this partnership and look forward to continued collaboration that creates inclusive, skill-building opportunities in the trades.
