We brought a little nostalgic fun into the building for National Piñata Day… and let’s just say, it did not disappoint 🪅😂

Residents and staff took turns busting open piñatas, and just like that—we were all kids again at a birthday party. The laughs, the cheering, and those facial expressions… priceless. Go ahead and enjoy them all—because they tell the story better than we ever could.

We also took time during Town Hall to celebrate our team with Perfect Attendance, Rising Star, Service Excellence, and Employee of the Month awards. A day full of fun and recognition—just the way we like it ❤️

Our Therapy Department brought the fun and the function today 🎣💪

Residents enjoyed “fishing” from a pool and dumping their catch into buckets—working on hand strength and coordination without even realizing it. Then came a creative twist on air hockey using noodles and discs, followed by ball toss games that kept everyone moving and engaged.

Proof that therapy doesn’t have to feel like therapy… it can look like laughter, friendly competition, and a really good time 💙

A day of pampering done right 💇‍♀️✨
We took our residents to the local technical center’s cosmetology class, where they were treated to the full salon experience—hair washed, dried, trimmed, and styled to perfection.

There’s just something about fresh hair and feeling cared for that brings out the biggest smiles. We are so thankful for these students who shared their time, talent, and kindness with our residents. 💛

We didn’t let the residents have all the fun this National Golfers Day ⛳️💚

Jordan with Amedisys Home Health, stopped by with a coffee bar for our staff, and between sips, they were trying their luck on the putting green for a hole-in-one. Some came close… some just had fun trying 😂

A big thank you to Jordan for bringing a little extra fun (and caffeine!) to our team today—we appreciate you!

National Golfers Day was a hole-in-one ⛳️💚
We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Lee’s Restaurant before heading to Compass Entertainment Center for putt putt, a few arcade games, and lots of laughs along the way. The sunshine, the smiles, and the pure joy in moments like these made it the perfect day.

Daisy came in and made herself right at home 🐾💕—one of our sweet residents loved on her, gave her kisses, and didn’t want to let her go.

Then we had a surprise piano performance this afternoon, and before long the room was filled with residents singing along together 🎶

So much fun today with our staff and residents 🐰💛

From bowling with real duck eggs (yes… real eggs 😅) trying to knock down chocolate Easter bunnies… to staff and residents teaming up for a bunny hunt… to our very competitive staff Easter egg hunt… it was one of those days you just had to be there for 🐣

We had staff on their hands and knees playing Minute to Win It games (because apparently dignity was optional today 😂), a few eggs being thrown instead of balloons (no injuries… just a lot of laughter), and let’s not forget our Easter Bingo Bunny Queens holding it down 👑

Days like today are what it’s all about… laughter, teamwork, a little chaos, and making moments that matter for our residents 💛

Just a beautiful day all around 🐰🌷✨

We are so grateful for the kindness and generosity of our community ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to Linda Ball for the beautiful fidget blankets for our memory care residents, the Ladies of the Nannie Bland David Circle of Bethany Baptist Church for the thoughtful Easter bags, and Beverly Kondas for the cozy lap blankets and Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle for the Easter Cards.

These acts of kindness truly make a difference in the lives of our residents. We are so thankful for a community that continues to support, uplift, and love on them the way you do.

We had a little April Fools fun in the building today… and let’s just say, our residents were ready to take action! 😄✉️

After hearing about some “new regulations,” they were prepared to start writing letters to Congress — until the big reveal… April Fools! 😂

Their reactions were the best part — full of smiles, laughter, and a few “you got us!” moments that made the whole day even more fun ❤️
