Our 40-week CNHP program is ideal for those who want to start a naturopathic private practice, support clients in a wellness center, or open a natural products retail business. The CNHP curriculum emphasizes science-based approaches and practical applications of natural health techniques such as herbology, homeopathy, and pH balancing to promote harmony of mind, body, and spirit. Additionally, you’ll explore the human organ systems to understand how to support optimal health from the inside out, as well as business strategies and legalities.

While the CNHP is an excellent stand-alone certification, it also serves as the first step in our Naturopathic Track, providing students with a foundation for our advanced programs, the 36-week Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (CHHP) and the 16-week Certified Traditional Naturopath (CTN). Our COO, Dr. Lauren, always has natural tools and products handy in her home. This year, be prepared for coughs and colds with her all-natural cough syrup recipe, which has been her go-to since her boys were little. The combination of raw honey, pineapple, cloves, and cayenne soothes sore throats, reduces inflammation, and helps break up mucus.

Ingredients:
1 cup fresh pineapple
1 cup raw honey
10 whole cloves
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions:
Roughly chop the fresh pineapple, including the core, which is high in the anti-inflammatory enzyme bromelain.
Add all ingredients to a mason jar, close the lid, and set it on the counter.
After 24 hours, strain the finished syrup into a clean, airtight glass jar or bottle, and store it in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Take 1-2 tablespoons every 4-6 hours as needed for soothing cough relief.

In 1991, our founder, Dr. Wendell Whitman, recognized the inadequacy of formal health education outside of the traditional medical field, and thus founded Trinity School of Natural Health.

Trinity School of Natural Health was established for the purpose of presenting alternative natural health education to everyone. Today, the Trinity repertoire of programs and courses has evolved into a powerful, educational process that enables students to improve their own health, enhance the good health of their families, friends and communities, and their own professional practices.
