January 2022. Another year my Bill was NOT presented or heard. No chance for me to fight or lobby for it. The disappointment is deep but I am NOT a quitter. I am fighting for myself and for people who serve people through drive up services or service doors against cigarette smoke.

If you know of anyone who would benefit from smoking/vaping being banned from drive up services and other public business service doors, please invite them to this page, or share. Sure we have to wait another year, but there is a lot of work to be done.

I am very excited to put this before the legislators in the Indiana General Assembly. Due to COVID, the schedule is messed up and the schedule is different. The amendment was not submitted as a bill of its own, but we will get it added to an existing bill of the same nature. Please stay tuned as we get progress reports and more information going forward!

With this pandemic, so many more people are realizing and finally able to sympathize and empathize with people who have breathing disorders/asthma. How many people do you know that have issues wearing a mask because they simply cannot breathe like normal?
This is simply because a simple mask in front of their face limits oxygen intake and causes people to breathe back in stuff that is bad for them. Anything other than clean unobstructed air is bad for people and their health.

Please stand with us on lobbying for clean air for the sake of all our health! Just because COVID-19 is here, does not mean we have stopped our fight for breathing clean air. Join the fight today!

This really did surprise me, considering one of the social media posts I saw posted from a gal, who is a smoker in the UK and ended up with COVID 19. She said she hopes that people will put their ci******es down for good because they will need their lungs to fight this virus.

The things that ci******es do to the body and lungs are a good 3 strikes ahead of what COVID 19 will do as well. Encourage your friends and family to stop smoking and embrace health.

The 2019-20 legislative session did not yield any action where amending the state law is concerned. The good news is that we did get some baby steps with amendments actually being filed - but not heard this session. This was HUGE!! This is much better than the previous years. H4SSFA will be working on a new project and angle after the COVID-19 threat has passed and business can proceed as normal. Getting our amendments heard and passed is not asking for much, but would mean so much to those who desperately need clean breathable air.

Just as a reminder, I am one single individual standing for and fighting for Hoosiers who suffer after being exposed to smoke or unwholesome air. Please consider coming on board with us if you or someone you know and love suffers and needs clean air to live. Numbers do make a difference and together we can get this done!!

Hoosiers 4 Sharing Smoke-Free Air will be staying on top of this and will support this passing into law. Indiana General Assembly has several things to***co related that they will look at this session. We haven't given up making strides for people who need to breathe smoke-free air. Will you join us?
