UPDATE (2/10 afternoon): SB 275 is now set for a hearing this tomorrow in House Ways and Means. Tell all of your patients, families, staff, your family, your friends and neighbors - we need everyone to send a message to legislators TODAY!

SB 275, which will be heard tomorrow in the House Ways and Means Committee, contains language that would remove protections against rate cuts to home health agencies. This clearly indicates that FSSA intends to reduce Home Health rates very soon after the passage of the bill. FSSA has already expressed frustration with the overhead component of the Home Health fee schedule - that will likely be the first target.

With the continued Pathways issues and challenges with MCEs, we are asking you to reach out to your elected officials to oppose this language. You can participate with just a few clicks.

Protect Special Education Rights - A message from The Arc of Indiana
Students with disabilities have the right to a free, appropriate public education. Federal law protects that right.

But right now, those protections are being threatened. Staff who enforce special education laws are being laid off, and programs are being moved away from education experts.

Without strong enforcement, students could lose critical support. Families could also lose a place to go when schools break the law.

Add your name to our petition calling on the federal government to:
• Protect the U.S. Department of Education
• Fully enforce special education laws
• Make sure students with disabilities get the education and support they are legally entitled to
• Make sure educators have accurate information about the law
Students with disabilities deserve to be supported and educated, not ignored.
