Myth: Carbs are the enemy!😡

Truth: Cutting carbs is not the key to fat loss. What matters is choosing the right kinds and the right amounts.😀

Your body needs carbohydrates for energy, hormone balance, and muscle recovery. When you cut them too low, you feel tired, crave sugar, and your metabolism slows down.

Choose whole food carbs like fruit, vegetables, oats, rice, and sweet potatoes. Avoid processed foods that spike your blood sugar and leave you drained.

Carbs are not the enemy. The wrong carbs are. Fuel your body wisely and your results will follow.

My go to carbohydrates are sweet potatoes, red potatoes, jasmine and wild rice, cabbage, oats, black beans, bell peppers, carrots, spinach, chili's, tomatoes, bananas, and strawberries!

Top 5 Mistakes Women Over 40 Make When Trying to Lose Weight

Ladies, losing weight after 40 isn’t the same as it was in your 20s or 30s. Here are the 5 most common mistakes, and how to avoid them:

1️⃣ Relying Only on Cardio: Long treadmill sessions won’t build the muscle you need to boost metabolism. Add strength training to burn more calories even at rest.

2️⃣ Cutting Calories Too Drastically: Starving yourself slows your metabolism and makes cravings worse. Focus on nutrient-dense foods and moderate portions instead.

3️⃣ Ignoring Hormonal Changes: Shifts in estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone affect fat storage and energy. Support hormones with strength training, sleep, and balanced nutrition.
