Today, as we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, we celebrate the impact he made on our nation, and recognize there is more work to be done.

At OP we are guided by a cause of helping children whose lives are impacted by orthopedic conditions. This quote by Dr. King embodies that spirit of our "why" and our passion to advance healthcare for children all over the world.

2 companies. 1 purpose!

At OrthoPediatrics, advancing pediatric orthopedic education is core to our company’s mission—because supporting clinicians with high quality learning helps improve care for KIDS everywhere.

That belief is at the heart of our partnership with the Armstrong Children’s Orthopedic Alliance (ACOA)— a surgeon-led organization advancing pediatric orthopedic education around the world.

This shared commitment to education dates back to the earliest days of OrthoPediatrics, when Dr. Peter Armstrong—our first Chief Medical Officer-- helped establish the Foundation that would grow into ACOA, with the vision that it would evolve as an independent, surgeon -led organization dedicated to education at the highest level.

Today, through this partnership, ACOA delivers high-quality educational opportunities that bring surgeons, trainees, and multidisciplinary care teams together to collaborate and continually raise the standard of care. These offerings include programs such as the Pediatric Orthopedic Surgical Techniques (POST) Course, the International Children’s Spine Symposium (ICSS), Pediatric Orthopedic Resident Training Courses, the Kaye Wilkins Pediatric Fracture Course, and the Pediatric Foot and Ankle Research Symposium, Pediatric Orthopedic Masterclass for Advanced Practice Providers — and the list continues to grow.

We are honored to stand alongside the ACOA— and all the pediatric orthopedic educators who make this work possible— as we continue advancing pediatric orthopedic education together.
