This month, OP was at the 79th annual American Academy for Cerebral Palsy & Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) meeting. Our Orthopediatrics Specialty Bracing division was also with us at the booth, along with the Levity device from our friends at Ora Medicall! It was a great time of connecting and learning together to better help KIDS! Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, and we already can't wait for next year.

At the beginning of this month, our OrthoPedia-Chicks participated in Women Build with Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County . It was a full day of roofing and shed building! We are so happy to be able to serve our community and support the family receiving this home.

Our recent Resident Review Course in Akron, Ohio was a complete success! The Armstrong Children's Orthopedic Alliance made all of this possible and OP is proud to be the Platinum Sponsor! We are grateful to the 28 faculty surgeons who teach, mentor, and give their time to this amazing educational event. Over 80 residents attended from the surrounding area. We also had the first ever Advanced Practice Provider track simultaneously, where 25 APPs attended to learn and build their network. So thankful to learn and teach alongside others who share our passion for helping KIDS!

The Scoliosis Research Society meeting last week was a great success for OrthoPediatrics! Our team met with many incredibly talented surgeons doing amazing work to advance the treatment of scoliosis. We hosted several key training events with a focus on young surgeon development and Early Onset Scoliosis. Thank you to Dr. Scott Luhmann and Dr. Rick McCarthy for hosting an educational seminar on the most recent addition to the OP scoliosis portfolio, the VerteGlide™ Spinal Growth Guidance System."
